It really bugs my brain that the duffers added the first five minutes of season 5 purely for shock factor. They shouldn’t have added a scene if they weren’t going to touch on Will’s sa trauma from it in the future

I enjoy true crime as much as the next guy but holy shit some of the framing that these shows use is disgusting. I watched the crash the other day and regardless of the actual crime content itself, a LOT of those people and videos and stuff felt a lot like "look at this teenage girl doing teenage girl things dont you hate her for it" instead of focusing on anything relevant

i have not read the book (and frankly do not plan to) so take this with a handful of salt but from what i can tell, the "off campus" show might just be the first tv adaptation i would consider to be just straight up better than the source material which i find fascinating
