Giselle before the start of this series. This is how she looked like when Valvatorez and Co. first met her. You won’t be seeing much of this design of Giselle throughout the story.

The remake of her older design isn’t done yet, but hopefully I should finish it soon.

Ylva, daughter of Fenrich.

I finally redesigned her. Most characters went through some sort of redesign since I’ve been gone. Their looks will change throughout the story, but this is how Ylva will be looking like for Disgaea I.

Sephiroth was roped into becoming Mao’s servant sometime in D3′s first chapter. Geoffrey found that he was quite skilled in magic and thought he would prove useful for Mao so he was forced to join. Seph didn’t talk at first nor did he show his face. He first started talking when Mao gained the title of a hero and, despite having it, failed in his goal to defeat his father. After their defeat he laughed loudly at Mao’s “realization that the hero title was useless” and wondered out loud how the Overlord’s son could be so naive as to believe that the hero title would’ve helped him win. He finally showed his face after Mao decides to get rid of his hero title saying, “I think this will turn out to be quite fun. Being your subordinate seems much more appealing now.” Post D3 he becomes the first official member of the new Overlord’s Guard, but turns down the position of leader of the guard as he says he’s not the “leader type” the title of Overlord’s Guard Leader is eventually given to Salvatore the Magnificent.

Headcanons:

-Not a headcanon, but a fact: I couldn’t decide a name for him so I asked Neo and he said “Name him Sephiroth” so he is now Sephiroth.

-He helps Mao get new test subjects for his experiments.

-He doesn’t like Geoffrey and has attempted to set him on fire or encase him in ice numerous times.

Korin is a cheerleader who has known Mao since they were children. She is Mao’s self-proclaimed “best friend” although Mao tends to equate her to a “yes man” during the beginning. He resigns himself to allowing her to call herself his best friend after the events of D3/Post Game. She tends to agree with Mao on everything and encourages him to go through with his stupid/bad ideas. Korin agrees with Mao since she says she finds a lot of things he does interesting or believes they’ll have interesting outcomes. She even helps him carry these ideas out as well. In BC timeline she becomes a member of the Overlord’s Guard.

Headcanons:

-Regardless of the timeline Mao and Korin will always only remain as friends. There will never be any romantic attraction.

-Korin joins during chapter five of D3. Mao questions as to where she’s been this entire time since she disappeared a little prior to the beginning of D3. Her reply is just, “Oh, you know…around.” Mao still has no idea where she actually went or what she was doing.

-I made her Mao’s childhood friend since I wanted Mao to have a childhood friend that didn’t become his lover. In BC timeline she and Rasberyl would share this in common, both being his “childhood friends”, but neither his wife. But in FP timeline this is solely Korin that it applies to. I kind of got tired with the childhood friends to lovers cliché so this is what happened.

Guess who got RPGMaker VX Ace during the steam sale because she’s trash? That’s right, me.

So here are sprites for younger Nez, Ven, and Ziv. I’m going to try to make a short game mainly focusing on Nez, Ven, and...a prinny. But Ziv, Demetrius, and Ylva also appear as NPCs.

This will also take place in an alternate timeline where I didn’t make everyone suffer. Because there’s zero room for cute hijinks in BC and FP timelines regardlesss of whether it was in the past or present.

Summary(WIP): Vendula’s new prinny friend has gone missing! Neziah (reluctantly) decides to help her find the prinny, but that’s pretty difficult when they all look exactly the same!

As I’m sketching out designs for older Valzy and Mao, no matter how I make Mao’s hair it just doesn’t seem right. Actually any time I draw Mao something doesn’t seem right to me

Here are some sketches I did for characters that’ll appear in BC timeline. There’s Emerald Von Almandine Rhodonite and Alexandrite “Alex” Von Almandine Rhodonite.  They’re the great, great, great, grandchildren of Almaz and Sapphire.

Then there’s Beyond X who ends up acting as a spy for Mao as the war progresses.

Then there’s an older Salvatore who is the leader of the current Overlord’s Guard.

Name: Luella Title: Dean’s Secretary Age: 3758 Family: Unnamed Parents, Lucille (Younger Sister) Gender: Female Race: Demon Weapon Forte: Staves

Luella was with Mao since the events of Disgaea 3. She was an honor student, but after a while she got bored of it and tried doing delinquent activities. She got hooked and became a delinquent. After Mao officially became Overlord she started saying she would be Mao’s secretary and make sure he did all his work. Mao didn’t accept it at first, but eventually she started calling herself the Dean’s Secretary so much so that everyone started acknowledging it and Mao didn’t have much of a choice, but to accept it.

She’s based off a mage I use a lot in Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention, but I decided to alter her looks.

Name: Claude Title: Dean’s Butler Age: 3137 Family: Charlotte (Adopted Daughter), Michael (Adopted Son) Gender: Male Race: Demon Weapon Forte: Staves, Spears

Claude has been with Mao since even before the events of Disgaea 3, but as a Prinny. He served Mao and continued to serve him in D3 for a while until he was eventually reincarnated…unfortunately he was reincarnated as a demon on the other side of the netherworld. He could have stayed there and just started a new life as a demon, but he decided to find Mao and continue to serve him. He currently acts as Mao’s butler.

Name: Tsubasa

Title: (Broken Covenant) Chrysoberyl’s Lackey/Delinquent (Forbidden Play) Nez’s Servant

Age: 1558

Family: Asuka Cranekick (Mother), Unnamed Father

Gender: Male

Race: Demon

Weapon Forte: Spears, Bows, Swords

Tsubasa is Asuka’s son. He is calm and helpful. Although in Forbidden Play he is much more mischievous. He generally has a somewhat sleepy look on his face.

Timeline Differences

In the BC timeline Tsubasa follows Chrys around and is a delinquent, he is also very loyal to him. However in Mao-Beryl timeline he was brought over along with Kyoko’s son Ryuunosuke hoping they would become close to either Morganite or Maxixe, unfortunately for Kyoko and Asuka they both seemed to prefer Nez and began following her around. She didn’t complain about having two servants, but she insisted that they become honor students if they planned on hanging around her. Much to his mother’s horror he became an honor student per Nez’s request. Tsubasa is very loyal to Nez and never refuses a request from her.

Mao has yet to be able to successfully scare him or Ryuu away from Nez.
