Hi Taylor! My name is Mason and I’ll be at the Denver and Nashville shows of the reputation tour. For Denver I’ll be in section G row 9 and for Nashville I’ll be in section A row 16. These will be my fourth and fifth times seeing you in concert and I’m so thrilled. I wanted to share my costume with you that I will be wearing both nights! After over a solid month of hard work and losing my first costume in the dorm laundry rooms, I finally ended up with a product that I’m super proud of.
For the shirt, I stitched together pieces of different costumes that you’ve worn in the past since “the old Taylor is dead.” It includes:

The skirt has silhouettes wrapped around it rising up from the grave. There’s one silhouette from each song on the album, and they go from blue to gold based off of the lyric “deep blue but you painted me golden.”

The back of the skirt is covered with newspaper clippings, which I made out of the lyrics to all of the songs on the album as part of your “reputation.”
Finally, I just want to say thank you so much for everything. It’s strange to think that I started listening to your music in middle school and now I’m in my first year of college about to see you again in person. (I’m studying socio-legal studies so I can work in foster care and I was so happy I almost cried when I saw the free performance that you gave for foster kids and their adoptive families.) You’ve been such a constant in my life for as long as I can remember and I’m so grateful to have such a genuine and gracious person to look up to. I’ve always been completely in awe of your writing and how beautifully you can translate such raw emotions into words. Not only are your lyrics absolutely beautiful and heartfelt, but you relate every emotion with complete honesty. I’m so happy that you seem to be living your best life; seeing you this happy is absolutely beautiful. I hope to be able to meet you this tour and genuinely thank you for everything, but either way, I hope you know that I love you with all of my heart. Thank you. @taylorswift
