I find it amazing how pretty much the whole Frankenstein fandom came together to agree that his creation has long hair

Everytime I read Jekyll and Hyde and get to the “If he be Mr Hyde, I shall be Mr Seek”, I just imagine Stevenson chuckling to himself, just really proud of that joke 😭.

I like to imagine in an alternate universe where Victor Frankenstein was a responsible dad, his creation would just constantly ask Victor pointless questions.

”Victor, what does it mean to love?”

”Victor what is a bird?”

”Victor what is an economy?”

and so on.

Victor Frankenstein essentially made the coolest science project and abandoned it because it’s eyes weirded him out.

Why is it that the Island Of Doctor Moreau is never spoken about??

Its genuinely such a good novel yet I never see anyone talk about it. Edward Prendick is such a complex character, and Moreau’s mad scientist shtick is really entertaining 😭

BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE’S LITERALLY VIVISECTING ANIMALS AND TURNING THEM INTO PEOPLE?? WHAT??

I love how in Frankenstein, Ernest’s fate is never mentioned.

He’s the ONLY (potential) survivor, yet nothings ever mentioned of him after Victor dies. He’s never shown to have died, nothing.

I genuinely think Mary Shelley just forgot Ernest was even a character 😭

It must SUCK to have all your family dead, and come out the only survivor.
