Basically this is a blog for archiving DPDR and other dissociative disorder related terms and information. Weather that be flags for the disorders or symptoms themselves, xeno/neogenders, emojis, graphics, or terminology.

This blog is run by one mod [hi] with dpdr, you can call them Ghost if you ever need to name them. [Hi again]. Oh and they go by They/It.

Please please please @ this blog when creating any flags, terms or whatnot related to dissociative disorders, especially DPDR. (I'm begging)

This blog will not archive system related terms as many other blogs do that and syscourse and system stuff is too much for me to deal with. So I will not state my opinions on the matter. Do not take the opinions about syscourse that may be on posts i reblog to be mine.

Ragdoll-ing/Ragdoll compliance-a form of shut-down where you dissociate, go partially or completely mute and/or feel heavy/floppy and just go along with whatever someone is asking you to do as long as it isnt too complicated. Can be a stress or even trauma response, but it doesn’t have to be

Restrictic ✦ Beings who experience a disconnect from the world due to limitations of the senses, such as visual impairment, hearing difficulties, etcetera. One would likely be less “disconnected” if not for the previously mentioned symptoms. (For example, our& derealization is not as severe now that we have glasses.)

a term for when your dissociation is so impactful, it somehow affects your identity in one or more aspects.

this may be due to being unsure about who you are as a whole, dissociating more frequently when trying to find labels, not being fully 'there', etc.

A term for where one’s dissociation and/or derealization feels as if it’s rewired their brain in “scribbles” or that their brain works how a scribble would. Unorganised, messy and all over the place.

This is a term exclusive to Dissociative individuals such as CDD systems, people with Personality disorders, DPDR, polyminds, etc. This flag is anti radqueer and excludes transdisabled individuals from this definition.

Dissociative delusion/Mistrust beliefs flag: a flag for those with dissociative delusions. Dissociative delusions are disturbances in which a person feels disconnected from reality often presenting as firm and false beliefs about oneself or once surroundings. Examples of dissociative delusions could be: the belief that only you are conscious due to derealization, the belief that everything is a simulation due to dissociation, the belief that everybody else is real but you are not, and any other ways to dissociative delusions may present. Dissociative delusions may or may not be realized as illogical or irrational thoughts, this is not necessarily always the case.

An alternative flag for P-DID systems. I don't really have any stripe meanings thought of, and this was mostly made using the original P-DID flag as reference, though we did take the 5-stripe version into reference as well. Made mostly for myself as I don't really like the alternative 5-stripe version that much either.
