So far I've only written for the Murderbot fandom, all (mostly) Murderathin. I just think Gurathin's data port is slutty and Murderbot should do something about it, so here's what I've uploaded so far. I added some of the tags, but check the ao3 links for the full info.
Improper use of data ports
Murderbot/Gurathin | Rated E | 9,934 words | Completed | Tags: Data port play, (light) Data port penetration, Light D/S, Sexual activity they'd both deny is sex
Most people have the decency to hide it, to disguise it at the very least. There was no reason for an augmented human to be parading around with an exposed data port, least of all this particularly annoying augmented human.
Handle with care
Murderbot/Gurathin | Rated E | 15,256 words | Completed | Tags: PWP, Data port play, Feed connection, Gurathin shines Murderbot like he's detailing a car
When Murderbot falls face first into a mud pit, Gurathin is there to help it deal with the mess. And if it enjoys the temporary loss of eyesight for certain recreational activities, well, itās bringing Gurathin along for the ride.
Acquired taste
(Pre) Murderbot/Gurathin, Dr. Ratthi | Rated G | 5,524 words | Completed | Tags: Pre-Relationship, Bickering, Jealousy, Gurathin's slutty data port
Murderbot is confused, then annoyed, and now there is a security threat at the market. If only Gurathin would follow its advice and hide his data port.
Or: Murderbot pushes its clients into a hostile situation, and now has to get them out. Donāt ask it why.

An unexpected walk in the rain leads Murderbot to a realization about Gurathin. Now, it must contend with its own past if it wants to understand and be understood.
Alternatively, they get off (emotionally) on the intense ordeal of self-recognition through the other by sharing a couple of their memories.
Part 2: In a sense
Murderbot/Gurathin | Rated E | 8,114 words | Completed | Tags: PWP, Data port play, Edging, Begging, I guess Gurathin is never getting his dick touched
Murderbot thought they were done for the evening, but after realizing Gurathin is still ready to go, it decides to have some fun with him.
Alternatively: Murderbot sits on Gurathin and edges the fuck out of him. No need to read the previous work.

Summary:
I found the room in the facility easily enough. It was one of many. Identical little cells with a bed pushed against one wall and hygiene equipment against the other.
There was no one else being held here. I made sure. Leaving some poor fuck here to die of starvation or run out of power was not something I intended to do. It could hold maybe twenty-five in total, but it honestly looked like it was on its way to being decommissioned.
That was probably why theyād stashed Gurathin here. They didnāt think that Preservation Alliance would even know where to look.
Luckily, Preservation Alliance had me.
Written in response to the mention in Network Effect of drugged augmented humans, and subsequent discussions in New Tideland.
something I just noticed taking screen recordings on my hd monitor: mensah takes his hand in the leg surgery scene and gurathin Immediately starts crying about it š. his central nervous system has been turned off and this is pre- EITHER side of the mind reading, this is purely about her holding his hand. this also brings his cry count up from my previously tallied six to seven, with four being mensah related and three being secunit related. he has a lot of feelings and he doesn't like Any of them <3
it really is kind of interesting how attached people are to the idea of the improvised line and the genuine reaction in film. nearly every single famous moment or line has some sort of claim floating around that it wasn't in the script and was either made up on the spot by an actor or was sprung as a surprise on the actors to get their 'real' reaction. you know, sometimes people do come up with good lines in advance and write them down, and sometimes people can pretend to be have a convincing emotional response on screen
many years ago (and under a different name) I wrote a story about [redacted Austen character] [redacted]ing a [redacted] to try to sell to a niche ebook erotica collection. It worked! I wrote a story I adore, and made fifty entire dollars off it. š
but in preparation for that, I read Austen's canon, particularly Pride and Prejudice, on heavy repeat for about a week straight, to try to capture The Voice. Which was fun! And helped with the story! And also meant that many years later (i.e. last year) coming up with the first line for a roughly Regency AU murderathin drabble for Wanksgiving was kind of like breathing for me:
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an ungoverned construct in possession of a good contract must be in want of a spy.
The rest of the drabble - and particularly hitting 100 words on the dot - was trickier. But I'm happy with the results. I'm gonna paste it under a cut here, for anyone who wants to read it on Tumblr, but you can also find it here on AO3: Constructs and Consequences, by Mari.
I should note that one thing I struggled with is what to rate it. They are definitely doing some kind of sex in this story, but it's vague as hell. So just...know that, going in. I guess.
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an ungoverned construct in possession of a good contract must be in want of a spy.
That the pair might find themselves fucking nasty on a desk is less of a surety, but still very likely.
āWeāre meant to be looking for that ledger,ā Gurathin protested.
āThen look; I have no objection,ā SecUnit replied.
Gurathin lifted up his fine eyes in amazement. āNo objection! If you would stopā¦nnn⦠No, donāt stop.ā
SecUnit stilled. Its weapons readied themselves with a soft whirring. āMy automata are detecting someoneās approach.ā
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an ungoverned construct in possession of a good contract must be in want of a spy.
That the pair might find themselves fucking nasty on a desk is less of a surety, but still very likely.
Absolute, complete perfection. Go read the whole thing either in this post or in ao3 if you haven't. GO NOW.
There's something so sad to me about how Gurathin spends the entire season so distrustful and on edge, about both the survey itself and SecUnit, because how can anything involved with the Company have good intentions? But the second Leebeebee tells him Mensah is dead, he immediately breaks down sobbing. Leebeebee had no way of knowing whether her plan even worked and for all he knew, she could have been lying. He could have held out hope Mensah survived or that Leebeebee was lying about SecUnit being dead to get them to cooperate, but no. Instant despair. Because since when has the universe ever been kind? When has idealism ever triumphed over corporate greed, or good over evil? Why wouldn't his favorite person die at the hands of someone using violence for their own gain? What else is new?
It's so much easier for him to believe in deception, violence, and tragedy than to even entertain the idea of a stranger acting kind, because to his experience that's just what the world is. Mensah, and by extension, the PresAux team, are anomalies. Cruelty is the norm, kindness an outlier. And what's really sad is how many times he's right. No wonder he cried when SecUnit left. He finally realized he had found someone who both understood and defied what his trauma had taught him.
Ok, so I saw this post and decided to illustrate it with gifs.
Exhibit A. Gurathin's immediate reaction after hearing Mensah is dead. No denial, no bargaining, just instant acceptance. He doesnāt even question whether Leebeebee might be lying.
Exhibit B. He's so devastated by the news he literally started leaking from the nose and then sobbing. At first I thought it's because of the pain, but now I beilieve OP is right.
Exhibit C. Gurathin's reaction when he sees Mensah alive and well. This is the face of a man who has just witnessed the resurrection of Jesus.
