Day 1

I love these hedgehogs being in love they bring me so much joy

The thing about Shadow and Rouge being best friends while crushing on Amy and Knuckles respectively is that they are each other's diary and neither of them is happy about it. Rouge has to listen to Shadow describe Amy's laugh like it's the eighth wonder of the world and she can't even tease him about it because he knows how many times she's described Knuckles' arms this week (it's been four times and it's Tuesday)

One of the reasons I love the idea of Shadow being a girl dad is because there's something incredibly soft about imagining Shadow coming home from a long mission and his daughters instantly ambush him with hugs and suddenly this feared government agent is sitting on the couch watching Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses with his girls as Amy kisses his bruised knuckles. This is the highlight of his day

Something about how a big part of Amy's character is her enormous capacity for love and how Shadow's character is shaped by love he lost

Shadamy is about love that's freely given meeting love that's afraid to be felt again

Odysseus: HELLO PENELOPE, I AM HERE PRECISELY ON TIME AND NOT YEARS LATE incidentally I rescued and adopted a Trojan seer while I was away, she’s great, got me home really fast, Cassandra this is your new mother who’s not going to treat you like shit. 

Penelope: … I’m going to need more details, but okay, sure. 

Cassandra: *in tears* I love you, new family.

You can say I'm reaching (and you'd probably be right lol), but I refuse to believe that Amy and Shadow almost always being next to each other in marketing and social media posts is a coincidence

They could've just as easily paired Shadow with Rouge or Omega, which would've made more sense, but no they chose to put him with Amy

One thing I haven’t seen anyone point out is that Shadow’s in the aisle seat. She was there first. This means either...

1. He walked all the way to the back past everyone else, including his friends, just so he could sit next to her for ten hours

or

2. She heard he needed a road trip buddy and happily dragged him all the way back there with her so they could spend ten hours together, and Mister Super Strong Ultimate Life Form Who Can Teleport let her do so without complaint.

Sega can do what they want, but Social Media Shadow is down bad for Amy and has been for years.
