The attacker swiftly closes the gap between them and Nero but just as they are about to land a stab Nero grabs their arm and electrocutes them

Nero: “Someone call the whambulance.” 

You: “Nero!” 

He turns around and shrugs “What? They came onto me,” he says and puts his hand around your shoulder and leads you away

Late-Night Bathroom Run

This is stupid, I'm sorry. It's literally 3:42 am and I need to pee, but I'm superstitious so I have to wait til 4 am.

You suddenly woke up from nothing short of a fever dream and let out a sigh of relief. "Just a dream," you reassured yourself and checked your phone to see what time it was. 3:26 am. You groaned and stretched lazily, only to realise you had to use the bathroom, and quickly. I really need to stop drinking tea right before bed...

The floorboards creaked loudly as you put your weight on them and tip-toed your way to the door. You gently pushed down the handle only to have it complain even louder than the floor. "Shit!" you hissed through clenched teeth and peeked out into the hallway. The coast seemed to be clear and you took a small step out in the open. You were only wearing a t-shirt, too short to cover your panties. Please, God, don't let anyone see me...

You quickly, yet quietly, jogged down the hallway and towards the bathroom door. You cringed every time the floor squeaked and prayed that no one would wake up. You reached the door and as you grabbed the handle, it pushed down from the inside, opened and revealed a soaking wet Dante. "Woah, hey, there." he smirked and you squealed as you tried to hide behind the door. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and the steam from the shower made his skin glisten. "The ventilation isn't working, so, uh," he gently knocked on the door you were crouching behind and chuckled. "I usually shower with the door open... which is why I shower at night."

"Okay, great! Uh, I need to use the bathroom," you said with a tense smile and tried your best not to look at the dewy skin on his abs. He leaned against the doorframe and looked down at you. "Sure thing," he smiled and crossed his arms, making his pecs slightly squish together. "But it's impossible to breathe in here without having the door open."

You froze and your already pink face turned a deeper red color, which Dante seemed to find amusing. "I- I'm sure I'll manage!" you said and stood up while trying to pull your shirt over your exposed cheeks. He chuckled and stepped out in the hallway. "Suit yourself."

You maneuvered around the door, caught Dante glancing at your butt and closed the door.

The steam was so thick that you could hardly see in front of you and you had to hold your breath. He wasn't lying, that's for sure...

You found your way to the toilet and felt yourself getting light headed from the lack of oxygen. You grabbed the roll of toilet paper next to the sink and watched it fall apart between your fingers. God damnit, Dante...

You had no choice but to open the door and stick your head out to breathe. Dante was leaning against the wall, still with his arms crossed and peeked at you through strands of wet hair. "Told you."

"Shut up! Why are you still standing here?" you hissed. He took a few steps closer and bent over to level with you. "Well, I wasn't done in there, but then somebody really had to pee, I reckon."

You blushed and checked to see if anyone had gotten out of their rooms and Dante did the same. "I'll stand guard," he said and gave you a sly look. You were about to growl at him and tell him to get lost but your bladder made you think twice about it. "The toilet paper is all soggy, anyway! How freaking hot is the water you shower in?" you whispered aggressively. He ignored your question and pointed at the cabinet under the sink. "Should be some dry-ish paper in there."

You did not have time to think about it any longer. "Alright, fine! Fuck! Wait there, and don't you dare to look!"

After finishing up you flushed, quickly washed your hands and wrapped a clean towel around your waist. "This is the most embarrassing moment of my life," you mumbled and started to sneak towards your room. "I thought it was pretty cute." you heard Dante say behind you and you had to hide a smile. Asshole...

"What are you smiling about?"

You froze and looked up. Nero's sleepy head poked out of his bedroom door and he was squinting at you. "I, uhm," you stuttered and without thinking you pointed back at Dante, who was on his way back in to the bathroom. Nero's eyes jumped from naked Dante to your hand clenching on to the towel around your hips. He raised and eyebrow and stared at you. "You're welcome! Good night!" Dante yelled behind you and disappeared in the slightly less dense steam seeping out from the bathroom. You cursed him silently and walked back into your room, with Nero's eyes following you, and hid under the covers. Worst. Night. Ever.

Okay, so, whenever I listen to music I can't stop imagining Dante dancing to it... so I present to you: second-hand embarrassment: the fanfic.

You sighed as you walked towards the door to Devil May Cry with heavy footsteps. It was late and you had just come off work. It had been a long-ass day, to put it mildly, and you were exhausted. All you wanted to do was go to bed. Then you heard it. The bass became louder and louder the closer you came to Dante's place and you saw movement from behind the blinds in the windows. "Please, no..." you muttered and opened the door.

"Well, I'm not paralyzed, but I seem to be struck by yoooouuuuu!"

The air was thick and warm and the smell of whisky was prominent. You glanced over at the desk and saw an empty bottle of Jameson, two empty pizza boxes and a... cowboy hat?

Dante was dancing around wearing nothing but his pants and was too into the blaring music (and too drunk) to have noticed you. He sang loudly to the awful rock song playing while he was headbanging. "Dante!" you yelled, but to no avail. You slammed the door shut behind you which surprisingly caught his attention and when he saw you he smiled from ear-to-ear. "Babyyyy!" he laughed and danced his way over to you. "Can you turn that off?" you asked loudly but he ignored it and pulled you in for a sloppy kiss. "I've missed you - how was your day?" he slurred and planted wet kisses all over your face. Whiskey was the only thing that made him this sentimental.

Can you please turn this God awful music off?" you said and started to walk towards the stairs but just before your foot met the first step you suddenly felt the floor disappearing from beneath you. "Oh my God...!" you breathed while it felt like your heart was about to jump out of your chest. His skin was boiling hot. "I'll lead," he said with a smirk before taking your hand and held it out to the side. You could not help but smile at the big doofus and let him have his fun.

"If your body matches what your eyes can dooo!" he sang (horrendously) while twirling around with you with ease. He was staring at you intensely, with obvious lust in his eyes. You blushed and looked away. You were admittedly too tired to do anything other than sleep right then, but...

The song ended and Dante bent over, supporting the back of your head, and gave you a kiss. You were clinging to his neck, terrified of him letting go, as he stood back up straight. "M'lady," he said, put you down and kissed your hand. You rolled your eyes and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "You're so lame," you smiled and went to the staircase. Just as you hit the third step "You're the One that I Want" from Grease started playing and you immediately spun around and pointed your finger at Dante, who had obviously been staring at your ass. "I've got chiiiills, they're multiplyin'!" you sang and moved your hips seductively. His face went from confused to wicked and he came closer. "I thought you were tired...?" he said before you stopped him by putting your foot on his shoulder. He glanced at it and looked at you through his lashes with a smirk. "You convinced me." You murmured.

In one swift motion he had swooped you off your feet and thrown you over his shoulder. "Hey-!"
