I hardly ever do updates...

I'm terrible at keeping record of anything. But I must say, I am extremely proud of myself on this day. I'm getting more and more interviews (much to the dismay of my bank account lol). Which means I'm more and more likely to get a job. Even with my issues with Step 1, people are still interested in seeing if they want to hire me! For all the downs I experienced in medical school, it seems like I'm having 10x as many ups. And it feels amazing. Finish my last elective on Friday...life is great...finally.

Beyonces Coachella performance honestly means so much to me. As a black person, seeing our African American culture so beautifully celebrated, our HBCU’s, drumlines, and educational institutions honored, to see so much joy, unity, talent, love on one stage. Seeing that solidarity amongst my people and all that excellence (not to mention a setlist of ALL that music and the memories it holds for me as a day 1 fan) really lifts my soul. I could not be more proud and moved. What a moment

He was an activist who inspired millions to fight for their rights. He knew what was wrong with our country and risked his life to help his people achieve equality.  In the society where black were treated like animal he did everything possible to change this. His brave soul, his will and courage changed the history of America , changed the people. He made us believe we can win this war. He payed for it with his life. He will always be remembered.
