Santos and Whitaker are completely different on night shift because they don’t have to "behave" for their crushes/situationship which means they are completely unhinged to the point were Abott even gets a bit freaked out. And to top it all of no one from dayshift believes him. He had them for like 2 weeks before they go back to day and he is for ever changed

So the thing that keeps on bothering me on my 10 rewatch of the pitt is who covers for Robby on his of day ??? Even mister workaholic has to have at leat one of day now and again for legal reasons ,we know Shen and Abbot are nightshift attends so they switch and we have not seen a 4 attending sooooo is one of them covering day sometimes or does another doc from a diffrent unit sub in or is their a forth attending we haven't seen (which I don't belive considering the whole Al-Hashimi situation)

The new episodes of the pitt drop on friday not Thursday in germany and I have to doge spoilers like crazy holly shit people can you put a spoiler before mentioning stuff bevore the 24h mark even hit I get it ur exited to talk about but I have legit no chance to wait

If I see one more post saying 'Oh jack safe him' or 'Jack will safe him' I'm going to crash out. What do you mean jack save him ??? As if this man didn't nearly commit 12h earlier ,their is no save him ! Their literally sitting in the same goddamn boot ! The only reason he got Robby of that roof instead of jumping with him is that he got scared shitless because if Robby his Robby who probably talked him down hundreds of times jumped than that’s it the entire ER would go down with him. Jack is not strong enough to a) fix this and B) he realised that in exactly that moment . He was ok with dying as long as Robby was their because he would hold them up but if his captain is falling he has no choice but to fight because the ship in his mind can survive without him but not the captain.

The reason Robby can talk him down is because at his core jack follows his captain and as long as Robby believe that’s enough for him until it isn’t.

Which is why I don’t ship them as a current thing or even a reason thing but in a past but still love each other kind of way.
