It's unbelievable how fast time passes with the right people. You sat down in the restaurant for dinner at 6 in the evening and now you left your second bar to finally go home.
To be honest, you got tired at around 1:30 am when your friend Jimin suggested to visit another bar - that ended up being more like a club.
It was not really your vibe, but your friends were so fun and you loved hanging out with them. Besides your childhood friend Jimin, there was also Mina, Nabi, Jaehyun and Jungkook.
Mina was your best friend and Nabi and Jaehyun were a couple - Jaehyun was Jimin's coworker. And Jungkook.. well, he was fairly new in your group. A lifelong friend of Jimin or something, super handsome and kind of mysterious. Totally your type.
You waved your friends goodbye and hugged Mina quickly.
When it was your turn to wave Jungkook goodbye, he suddenly stepped closer. "I walk that way too", he pointed behind you.
"Oh, okay."
All your friends walked the other way. A little tipsy, laughing and probably extremely tired too.
You walked next to Jungkook in the direction of the subway station. Or wherever he was going to go.
The ground was covered in puddles, it must have rained while you were in the club. Now the air was refreshing and you could even see the little cloud of air while exhaling.
You wore some cute summer outfit, that suddenly felt inappropriate for the weather.
As if reading your mind, Jungkook looked over to you, walking with his hands in his pockets.
"Are you cold?"
"No, I'm totally fine." Idiot. You could have had a cute moment, but you always talked before you thought. You facepalmed yourself internally.
Jungkook smiled and as you looked over to meet his eyes, you noticed once again his super handsome face.
He had these huge almost doll-like eyes and his cheeks were a little rosy, probably from the alcohol and the heat in the club.
As opposed to his cute smile, that made the corners of his eyes crease, he had a lip piercing and one more piercing on his eyebrow. His hair was messy too and - oh god were you staring at him?
He seemed to not mind, but just smiled sheepishly.
You quickly asserted your gaze and walked a little faster. Oh god how embarrassing.
Suddenly something touched your shoulders and you almost flinched, but when you looked back it was Jungkook draping his black denim Jacket over your shoulder.
"I know you are cold. Your lips are blue." He smiled again, now looking directly at your lips.
You turned your head and looked straight ahead, feeling your heart beat faster. Now you almost came to a stop and Jungkook passed you.
He kept walking, but turned around - walking backwards.
"Let's go have breakfast, I'm starving."
Man, he looked divine. Wearing a fitted black shirt and showcasing a sleeve tattoo that came all the way to his hands. Dreamy.
He smiled widely now - something you had never seen before on him. You couldn't help but smile back.
On the weekend you always did a little coffee run in the morning. Sunday was the only day when you and your boyfriend Seonghyeon could sleep in together.
So you woke up before him every time to get both of you coffee. Seonghyeon would like his typical ice americano, while you opted for a sweet vanilla latte.
You just returned and tried sneaking back into your bedroom. Seonghyeon's body was spread across the bed - he must have gotten up to use the bathroom while you were gone.
He was laying on his stomach, arms and legs spread funnily. You put the coffee on the bedside table and considered all the options of waking him up. You could tap his back, caress his head or maybe tickle him. No - obviously you would jump onto him like a maniac
"Wake up sleepyhead", you shouted as you launched yourself on top of him.
Sean made a loud noise and started laughing as you almost crushed him. Then he easily turned his body below you and suddenly you found yourself under his body instead.
He held both your hands down on the matress and smiled widely. "Nice try", he giggled.
"Were you fake sleeping? I knew it", you huffed, pretending to be mad.
Seonghyeon pecked your lips multiple times. "Good morning to you too."
You couldn't help but smile back at him. He released his grip around your hands and sat up in bed, turning to search for the coffee.
You sat up aswell, reaching over to grab both of your cups from the bedside table.
"Here I got you your usual coffee." You smiled cheekily as Sean eyed first his coffee and then yours. They were both in white cups.
Seonghyeon was sneeky. Every time he ordered his bitter americano and every time he took the biggest sips of your sweet latte. Except this time!
You bad secretly ordered two vanilla latte's. So Sean was in for a surprise.
"Can I try yours?" He smiled sheepishly.
You had just waited for him to ask. "You have your own drink, Eom Seonghyeon."
"Just one sip", he whined, leaning over.
"Alright." You held your cup closer to him and he took a sip from the straw. His eyes lit up. He was so cute. You really didn't understand why he didn't just order a latte if he liked it so much.
"Sweet just like you."
You rolled your eyes at him playfully and started sipping your own drink. It was delicious, as expected.
Sean looked down at his cup and sighed, reluctantly trying his bitter iced coffee.
Suddenly his eyes lit up again and he lifted his head. "Wait a minute."
You laughed. "Surprise!"
"Did you buy me a latte?" Sean put his cup aside and stood up, clapping. He was so funny sometimes.
"Yes, I am sick of you drinking half my drink every time", you explained. "Please enjoy your own vanilla latte today."
Seonghyeon smiled so widely, you wouldn't think this was because of coffee. "This is the best day ever." He turned to you, grabbing your drink and putting it aside.
Then he pushed you back on the bed and hugged you tightly. "Thank you!" He planted kisses all over your face. You both giggled uncontrollably.
Then he stopped and looked down on you. "From now on, please always buy iced vanilla latte for me. It's heavenly."
You giggled at his choice of words. "Took you long enough to admit that."
Sean nodded and smiled his cheeky smile. "Come on, let's enjoy our coffee on the rooftop. How does that sound."
It was Saturday night and you were once again in a bar, where you actually didn't want to be at the at all.
Somehow your friends always found a way to convince you to join them and you always tried to tell yourself that it was a good idea - until you realized it wasn't, which was like an hour after you arrived.
So you sat by the bar, silently slurping your drink. The people around you talking and laughing and doing shots, some dancing, some making out - just regular party stuff.
"A shot of tequila, please", you heard a guy shout next to you. You watched him from the corner of your eye, his dark hair messy and his sweater looking a little too expensive for some college kid.
"Thanks man", he picked up the glass and downed it in one go, a sigh leaving his mouth as soon as he sat down the glass again.
He caught your eyes, flashing a beautiful smile. You quickly adjusted your gaze, focusing back on your half empty drink. After a moment passed, you dared to glance back at the spot the stranger just stood before, only to find he was gone.
You turned your head completely, wondering where he left to so quickly.
"Are you looking for me?"
Startled, you looked to the other side, finding the stranger from before leaning against the counter. Besides having seen him a few minutes ago he seemed oddly familiar, you just couldn't recall why. With all the flashing lights you couldn't really get a proper galnce at his face.
"No", you tried to play it off, "I was just looking for - for a friend."
The boy chuckled, raising an eyebrow in amusement. He cocked his head to the side, studying you very obviously. He had an alluring deep voice.
"Wanna dance?"
You snorted, playing with the straw in your drink. "If I wanna dance? No, I'd rather sit here in silence, thanks", you countered, a bit annoyed now.
He only chuckled, "okay, sorry for asking. You're still as boring as I remember you." He mumbled the last part, but you still could hear it very clearly.
He was just about to walk away, when you grabbed his arm, "wait", you shouted, getting down from the bar stool to step closer to the boy. "I'm not boring."
He smirked knowingly, putting a hand on your waist and pulling you closer to whisper against your ear. "Prove it."
You didn't even think twice as you connected your lips to his in a heated kiss. He seemed just as surprised, only after a moment wrapping both arms around you.
You smiled up at him after the kiss, feeling your heart beat fast in your chest. This was really unlike you, but somehow even if he was a stranger it seemed so right. He had dark but warm eyes and soft lips and he looked all the more familiar up close.
"Should we get out of here?"
You nodded, feeling excited and nervous at the same time.
"Hey man", another guy shouted, walking in your direction.
"What's up Jeno, we were just about to leave." The boys greeted each other with a fist bump.
You looked between them, only now recognizing Jeno, who was the younger brother of one of your girlfriends.
"Oh, hey", Jeno greeted you aswell. You only waved at him, feeling a little awkward all of a sudden.
"Y/n and I are gonna leave, if you need anything, just call me. And make sure the music doesen't get any louder or my dad will kill me", the boy across from you winked, only half joking.
"Sure thing, Jaemin."
Jaemin.
"Jaemin?" You blurted out.
Na Jaemin? As in Na Jaemin who used to annoy the hell out of you during all the years of high school? Na Jaemin, the son of the owner of this bar and this hotel and half of the city?
Na Jaemin who you slept with at prom night, who promised to treat you gently and who ended up breaking your heart?

"Yep, that's me", Jaemin answered with a very confused look on his face.
You huffed, stepping back from Jaemin and Jeno. You couldn't believe you had kissed him and you were ready to do more.
"Everything okay?"

"No? Nothing is okay. God, I can't believe I was so fucking stupid. I'm gonna go." You shook your head, quickly disappearing into the crowd.
Jaemin couldn't even say anything, couldn't explain himself - you had already disappeared into the mass of people in front of him.
You almost ran out of that bar, spontaneously making a turn for the elevator and driving up to the rooftop.
Although it was winter and it was night you needed the fresh air right now. You needed to escape. How dare he show up like this and try to seduce you once again - after breaking your heart not long ago.
You just couldn't believe it. Na Jaemin.
All these years you had a crush on him and then you finally had a chance to get to know him but all he wanted was to spend one night and then drop you like you were just another one of his trophies.
Not again, you thought. You wouldn't fall for that again.
"Y/n", a familiar voice snapped you out of your thoughts. Jaemin was stepping onto the rooftop with you, slowly approaching as if you were some kind of deer that would run away as soon as it noticed someone coming closer.
"What do you want?"
"What I want", he asked, seemingly offended, "I don't know, maybe an explanation as to why you left me standing down there like that?"
"You want an explanation? Well, so do I, Jaemin. So do fucking I. But what did I get? Nothing. Nothing, but a broken heart."
"What the heck are you even talking about? What did I do?" Jaemin seemed genuinely confused, which didn't make any sense.
"Prom. Do you remember? You asked me out and we went together. We danced for an hour, took some photos and then we left. Cause all you wanted was to get into my pants. And then you left me all alone in the middle of the night."
Tears were prickling in your eyes, you wanted to confront him for so long, but after prom you hadn't seen him again.
"So? You knew what you were getting into, y/n. And you ran off." He was shouting too now.
"No, fuck you", you hissed, stepping closer, "you lured me into your car and promised me a bunch of bullshit and then you left me standing in the fucking cold. For god's sake I was in love with you, you asshole. Didn't you realize?"
Jaemin's eyes widened, there was just no way, he thought. "You- you what?"
"Well, yeah, genius. I had a crush on you for the longest time and you had finally noticed me. But then you went ahead and used me. Just like that."
Jaemin lowered his head. "I think there was a misunderstanding", he mumbled.
You only laughed mockingly, "Are you kidding? For you there was never a 'no' and there was never 'love'. You do what you want without thinking of others. You used me and I was stupid enough to believe you and your fucking lies."
"You got this all wrong", he humbled again, suddenly seeming a lot more quiet that usual.
"Then tell me, Jaemin. Explain yourself." You tried calmign yourself down - breathing deeply.
"I liked you too, I really did. Everything I said that night was genuine. And when I left to get my coat for you and came back again, you were gone", he explained.
"Who takes half an hour to get a fucking coat", you shouted.
"I got us drinks, what the hell is your problem! It's been five years, what can I do about it now?"
Jaemin's cool facade cracked after all. It seemed as if someone reopened the wound in his chest and dug even deeper into the hole that was left after you broke his heart.
You didn't say anything, you were torn between anger and forgiveness and tears prickled in your eyes.
"You liked me too", you said, voice just barely above a whisper.
Jaemin blinked slowly, his eyes scanning over you. "No", he exhaled heavily, "I never stopped liking you. Never. Not a day."
You blinked at him, unable to form any sentence. "But- wha- what?"
"When I saw you today, it felt like something- god, this will sound dumb, like something shifted in my heart. And when you kissed me I realized."
Jaemin stepped closer, taking your hand in his softly. "I was so stupid for letting you go like that", he whispered, "I hated every day without you, please, give me another chance. To prove that I really do mean it."
"Jaemin", your head was spinning and the smell of his cologne lingered in your mind.
"What do you say?"
You hesitated for a moment, thinking about what to say. But no words seemed to be right, so you gently leaned in and kissed Jaemin's lips once again.
Jaemin smiled at you, his eyes sparkling, "I won't let you go this time. I promise."

It was Wednesday night and you had just walked into the night club of your town. Afterhours. It was a popular spot since you were a teenager - even on weekdays like this it was packed.
Your best friend had invited you to come and watch one of his favorite artists. Some new band you didn't even know the name of.
You sat by the elevators, sipping on a sparkling water and nervously typing on your phone. Jackson had said you'd meet at 7 and now it was already half past.
On top of that your phone was about to die - perfect. Jackson was always late, he knew people everywhere and always got held back, but it still made you nervous. What if something happened to him on the way?
Your phone screen turned black. "Great", you mumbled. Now it was really dead.
"All good there?" A male voice interrupted you deep in your thoughts.
You looked up to find a handsome tall man standing by the elevators. He had dark hair and wore a leather jacket.
"Y-yeah?" You stuttered. Oh my god, could you be any more embarrassing?
The young man chuckled and pushed his long dark hair back. He casually walked over and stood in front of you now. Hesitating at first, he slowly kneeled down and picked something up - my god was he cute.
The stranger carefully handed you a red colored bracelet - which was basically your ticket into the concert later. He smiled, as your hand brushed his. It was warm and instead of soft, unexpectedly rough - which made him somehow even hotter.
You looked at him for a very long time - almost too long to be honest. He had dark eyes and perfect skin. With his full lips he looked very kissable. You felt heat rise in your body, what was this stranger doing to you?
"You dropped this", he broke the silence.
"Thank you", you smiled, shaking your head and collecting your thoughts. You felt so hot, you wanted to actually fan yourself.
"Are you a fan?"
You blinked. Was this guy in your mind? What did he mean? A fan of him - oh my god definitely. But he couldn't possibly mean that. "Excuse me?"
The boy smiled, "neo?" He pointed at the bracelet. "Are you a fan of Neo?"
You were lost, who the heck was he talking about? Was there something you were missing? You tilted your head and smiled sheepishly.
The boy nodded. "The band playing tonight? Neo? I guess you're not a fan then."
He looked a bit disappointed for a moment but then chuckled, more to himself. Oh no, he must think you were stupid. How could you go to a concert and not know who was performing.
"I'm sorry", you blushed, "of course you mean the band."
"Don't worry", he leaned in a bit, "they're a bit overrated if you ask me." He winked and stepped back.
You only smiled. His scent filled your nose, it was intoxicating. He smelled like soap and vanilla.
"Well, I gotta go. But it was nice meeting you", he paused, tilting his head and raising his eyebrows a bit.
You nodded. "It was nice meeting you, too."
He pressed one of the elevator buttons and the door opened immediately. He stepped inside and turned around, holding the door open with one arm. "I'm Mark, by the way."
He smiled and you felt like melting from your chair and lying on the floor.
"Enjoy the show", he said just before the doors finally closed.
For a moment you just sat there, deep in thought and overwhelmed. Then Jackson came around the corner, talking nonstop.
"Sweetheart, I'm late", he said, looking as great as ever. He kissed you on the cheek. "Let's go, the show is about to start. Are you alright?"
He looked you up and down, as if he knew what was up. As your best friend he had a radar. "Interesting. Tell me later. We are late."
"We?" You chuckled, finally coming back to your senses. "Speaking of we. Where were you?" You hit him in the shoulder playfully.
"Sorry, some friends were by the bar and I also had to greet the DJ, an old colleague of mine." Of course. Jackson who knew everyone.
You laughed, "you're unbelievable."
You walked into the venue together, a small hall and stood almost at the front. Jackson and you chatted for a moment and you told him about the hot stranger you had just met.
He scolded you for not exchanging numbers. Typical of him. Then the show began, the lights went out and the crowd cheered. A single spot went on, lighting up the microphone on stage.
A men stepped forward, looking ethereal in the light. And, it was no other than your hot stranger, Mark? He opened his eyes, "good evening, are you ready for some music?"

You blinked your eyes open, still feeling jet lagged after your long flight the day before. You barely remember arriving at the hotel and checking into the room - somehow you made it though. Both you and your boyfriend Jaehyun immediately brushed your teeth - the suitcases parked somewhere in a corner of the room - and went straight to bed.
Now it was some hours later, the sun was already shining through the windows. A soft and fresh breeze caressed your skin. You sat up in bed and looked around, the doors to the balcony were open, white curtains gently swining in the wind. You got a sneek peak of the mediterranean sea, somewhere in Italy.
You heard shuffling and voices, but somehow you could not stop staring out of the window. It had its perks to being able to tavel with your international model boyfriend.
A shuffling sound made you eventually turn around, to find Jaehyun looking as gorgeous as ever, no shirt, just pyjama pants. You did not question anything, but welcomed the breakfast tray he was holding with a smile.
"Ciao bella", he said with a deep voice and sweet smile. You could have melted right there and then.
"What do we got there. Looking good."
Jaehyun put the tray on a table beside the bed. It had several pastries and an assortment of fresh fruit. Juice and coffee made everything smell amazing.
"In case your hungry, I ordered us breakfast." He sat down on the bed.
"I was not talking about the food", you smiled cheekily, grabbing his face and kissing him softly. There was nothing better than kissing Jaehyun and his soft lips. They tasted like orange and you suspected he already snacked on his way from the door to the bed.
"I missed you", he whispered. You knew it was ridiculous to say this, as you were literally sleeping next to him all night. It was maybe five minutes when he got up to freshen up and get the door that he did not see you. But you loved it.
"I missed you too", you smiled and kissed him again. The kissing intesified and before you knew it Jaehyun climbed on top of you, now kissing you a lot harder.
You relaxed under him, your hands roaming over his muscular back and then back to his defined abs. He was definitely crafted by the god himself.
You glanced up at Jaehyun, breaking the kiss to catch your breath. His eyes got darker and were full of hunger. For you or the freshly baked lemon roll next to you, you were not quiet sure. Probably both.
Jaehyun smiled gently. "You look beautiful. What do you say we eat some breakfast on the balcony first, before the coffee gets cold." You only nodded, before he continued. "And then we can come back to this."
You bit your lip and smiled. With Jaehyun still on top of you like this, feeling the heat of his body and his bare skin, you honestly could not really think straight.
"Or even better, after breakfast we could take a bath or shower."
Jaehyun nodded, waiting for you to finish your sentence. "And then?"
"No, that was it. We can take a bath or shower. But like, together."
Jaehyun's eyes widened. "Oh, well, yeah", he stuttered. Even after being together with you for a while, he was still surprised everytime you made such suggestions.
He got up quickly, fixing his hair, before he grabbed the breakfast tray and carried it to the table on the balcony. "Come on", he invited you.
You sat up in bed an watched him, smiling. He seemed in a rush, pouring some coffee and snacking on a slice of peach. "Hurry, let's eat fast, so we can take a bath."
Now you were laughing and even Jaehyun couldn't hold back. Safe to say it was a quick breakfast and a long, very long, bath afterwards.

So in this world reincarnation is a thing, as well as vampires that live an eternity.
Basically Jaehyun is a vampire that lived forever already and one day he falls in love with someone in a bar and then they live a happy life until that person passes. Because at one point obviously Jaehyun will be the same age, while y/n would start aging and then he would leave or fake his death or move away.
Anyway Jaehyun, after y/n's passing, is terribly depressed for god knows how long, and he wants to end everything, so he stands in the sun, typical vampire kryptonite right.
Then, as he is ready to leave and all, y/n, reincarnated and all, shows up and suddenly he is kind of healed of his immorality and as soon as he talks to y/n it is clear (i suppose) that the sun doesn't hurt him anymore and he can live a happy ever after just like any human.
Hope it makes sense, it's written like this in purpose. For you to wonder ;)
It was cold outside, you had your arms crossed in front of your chest in an attempt to feel at least a bit warmer.
You were waking down the street some time after midnight, the full moon and the stars were shining and you could hear waves crash softly in the distance.
Next to you, arm brushing yours every now and then, was your crush.
You've spent the entire summer with him, meeting for coffee in the mornings, going out for lunch, taking a swim or getting kind of drunk after work at night. It all happened at least once.
Another thing that happens at least once - having a crush. And so for this summer - for the first time in your life - you had a crush. And it was no other than Mark.
"So you will leave early tomorrow?"
Marks voice snapped you out of your thoughts.
"My friend is gonna take me to the airport at 12", you bit your lips.
This was your last night, the last time for you to see Mark for god knows how long. It hurt a bit.

You hummed, feeling slightly awkward.
The thing about your crush on Mark was that Mark himself knew about it. You told him, you confessed.
And you talked it out, settling on being good friends, because Mark was still getting over a fairly recent heartbreak.

"I think it's sad", Mark chuckled, "it's sad we're all leaving and this summer is ending."
You nodded, "yes I know."
You had almost reached your apartment, Mark having insisted on walking you home.
"I think we will probably not see each other for a while after tonight."
You glanced over at Mark and you weren't sure if it was because of the cold or if he was holding back tears, but he sniffled a few times.
"Do you still want to be in contact with me even after you leave?" Mark asked very carefully.
"What? Of course, I want to, if that's okay with you?" You looked at him, stopping in your tracks as you were now standing next to your front door.
"Yes me too", Mark smiled, "I would like that."
You smiled too.
"Alright, there we are, so, there is one more thing I want to say", Mark paused, stepped closer to you. "You are very lovely and I wish I could give you what you want and deserve. "
"Mark", you whispered. It hurt a bit.
Mark gave you a half smile, his eyes glistening. "But my heart is not well and before I can't fix it, I don't think I should give it away. You deserve a strong heart and all the love in the world."
Your eyes burned, "No, Mark. I just ask for you."
"Maybe when we meet again my heart will be fixed. And then, if you are still interested, we could try again."
Mark grabbed your hand and squeezed it.
You held back tears as you looked up at him. You understood it and altough you just asked for him to stay by your side, you understood that he needed space and time to heal.
There wasn't a lot you could say or wanted to say. Now you needed time, too.
You softly smiled. "Okay."
Mark smiled too and pulled you into a long hug. "I'll come visit you next month, as planned."
You stepped back and smiled widely. "I'll ask you again then. Is that okay?" Your eyes were sparkling with hope.
Mark chuckled softly. "Ask me again in a month, yes."
"Okay, I'll see you then", you waved at him and stepped back even further to where your door was. "Wait for me."
"I will", Mark nodded, watching you disappear inside your apartment building.
You slowly lowered your hand, eyes moving between the wooden floor and the white door in front of You.
Somehow you felt stupid knocking on your roommates door at one in the morning. On the other hand, it was him who had invited you to come to his room, after just minutes ago you had sent him a long paragraph on how you felt.

The door opened after a moment and on the other side stood Mark, dressed casually in sweats and a zip-up. Very different to his usual black slacks and white button up.
He flashed a smile and your heart almost dropped just at the sight of him.
"Hi", you whispered.
"Hi", Mark whispered back, his smile only getting wider. "Come in."
You carefully stepped inside, "I'm sorry."
You walked into his room, Mark chuckling behind you. "Don't be."
"But I don't know what's wrong with me. Am I overreacting?" You furrowed your eyebrows, turning back to him.
Mark walked over, still smiling a little. He sat down on his bed. "It's okay. Come here."
You swallowed, suddenly unable to move. "Huh?"
"Let's cuddle a bit."
"Oh."
Mark snorted, patting the spot next to him on the bed. "Come here."
You felt strange, somehow nervous but also excited. You really needed a hug. You climbed into the bed and got comfortable next to Mark, who also laid down.
It was dark, the only light in the room coming from the bathroom, where the door was open a bit.
Mark lifted his arm so you could cuddle up against him. He wore a fleece zip-up, so he was even cuddlier than usual.
"This is nice", Mark said, after he pulled up the blanket to cover the both of you.
You hummed in response.
"So you're an overthinker", Mark whispered. A soft chuckle following.
You sighed, "yeah it's so bad. I'm really sorry." You felt bad, it was as if you had to force him to spend time with you - let alone hug you like this.
"No, why? It's a good thing."
"How so?"
"You care", Mark whispered, saying it as if it was the most logical thing in the world. "You're not shallow, but rather think about what you do and say. You have empathy and a lot of love to give."
You swallowed, your heart feeling strange in your chest.
"Thank you, Mark."
"It's only the truth."
He planted a kiss on your head, rubbing your arm slowly. A yawn escaped his lips.
Several moments passed without either of you saying something.
"I didn't feel well the past days", Mark began, still speaking in a soft tone, "I didn't have the energy to do anything. I didn't mean to ignore you or make you feel bad."
You nodded. "I think I just really really missed you."
Mark chuckled again, his chest vibrating. "I missed you, too. I will give you more attention from now on, I promise."
You smiled, feeling almost a sense of relief. You closed your eyes, melting more into Mark's arms.
"You know", he said very softly, "I feel so cozy with you in my bed, if I fall asleep now, I fear, you are forced to stay here."
"I'm gonna have to accept my fate", you whispered back at him, smiling faintly and feeling so safe in Mark's arms.
"Mark?"
There was faint hum in response.
"I really like you, you know and I hope you're not mad", you began, "sometimes it scares me a bit, how much I think about you and how intense my feelings can be. But then, at moments like this, I forget about all my worries."
You paused a bit, hoping you didn't make him feel uncomfortable with your subtle confession. "Thank you for that", you added.
A moment of silence passed between you.
"Mark?" You whispered his name. As you were about to continue talking, a soft snore was heard.
You lifted your head only to find that Mark had actually fallen asleep. You smiled, pecking his cheek, before you slowly lowered your head back on his chest.
You closed you eyes and whispered, " good night, Mark."

okayy i shuffled my (mainly nct) kpop playlist and damn why are all these songs so good wow :D
It's nearly two in the morning when your phone rings, making you jump off the bed, where just seconds ago you've been dozing off.
You quickly accept the video call, fixing your hair in a quick motion and smiling widely as the person on the other end of the phone appears.
It's your boyfriend Jaehyun, calling from Japan, where he has been spending the last month working.
"Hey", a deep voice appears.
You smile, sitting back in your bed. "Hey Jaehyunie."
Jaehyun's dimples make an appearance as his smile deepens. "How have you been?"
You sigh, trying to maintain your smile. Of course you want to be honest with your boyfriend and want to share how much you miss him and how many times you cry yourself to sleep because he's so far away.
But you don't want to burden him, or make him feel bad. Besides, he'll be home very soon and then there will be enough time for you to be with him.
"I'm good", you tilt your head at him, "but I miss you, of course."
Jaehyun sighs loudly, the screen shaking and going black momentarily, before it returns to normal. A smiling Jaehyun reappears.
You laugh, "what just happened?"
"What do you mean?" Jaehyun chuckles. "I hugged you."
You stare blankly at him for a moment, before you laugh again. "Jaehyun", you drag his name out.
"What? Whenever you said you missed me I hugged you tightly. Have I been gone so long you forgot about that, or what?"
Your smile softens as you remember those days. When Jaehyun was next to you.
"I can't wait to come home in a few weeks and hug you in person", Jaehyun almost whispers. He sounds as sad as you feel deep inside.
You nod, your throat tightening, "me too."
You smile at each other, getting interrupted by loud voices on Jaehyun's end. He looks around, his phone shaking again as he says something, probably to his colleagues.
"Hey, baby, I have to go now. I'm sorry todays call is so short."
"It's okay", you reassure. It's night for you, but Jaehyun is a couple hours ahead, calling in his lunch break.
"I will call you again tomorrow, now go to sleep, I know you probably already dozed off four times waiting for me", he chuckles, knowing you all too well.
"I love you", you say quickly, waving at the camera.
"I love you more."
And with that the phone call ends and you're back to sitting in your silent, empty bedroom. You sigh, putting your phone aside and lying down in bed again.
You know he's only gone temporary and the sooner you know Jaehyun will return from Japan and you will have him next to you again.
That's all you want, having him next to you again.
