i think there's an important distinction to be made about sanji's moral code that I'm particularly pedantic about, it's not that sanji can't hit women, it's that he won't
saying that he can't kinda implies to me that there's external factors that force his hand, sanji not hitting women out of a perceived weakness is a really far spread misconception on his character that already bugs me the hell out, but otherwise, the phrasing too makes me believe it's taken as a burden? as annoying inconvenience instead of a trait so fundamental to sanji's being that it's what grounds him when conflicted with his own identity, not hitting women is not a curse for sanji for fucks sake, it's just what he does
i will always have onesided beef with whoever thinks that sanji should, for whatever reason, hit women actually
Big into one piece doflamingo lately...
You big into Doflamingo? Don't even joke lad...
last week we had to do some concept art for a character of our choice's dog, of course i chose doflamingo, what do you take me for? a casual??
i feel the insistence of everyone always pointing out that sanji only uses his feet for combat gets kinda corny sometimes
like, there's a guy with a sword on his mouth no less than 5 meters away from him why are we so fixated on this guy not using his hands
watching the live action with the japanese dub is so magical man
skeeetches ?
p.s. pics with doflamingo and baby five from a medieval fantasy au. ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)
idk what I'm doing at this point
i have a break from uni! have my luffy sketch page. can you tell what order i drew these in,,, bcs i feel like you can tell,,, cus it took me a month+ to find time to finish this...,,,,
heres the sanji sketch page i did ages ago

Tontatta Law
On the same topic as last post, it does seem that Law wanted Doflamingo to say this, like. he really did.
It's implied that the two never properly interacted since Rosinante's death. There's 13 years between. What was it like last time?
The last time Doffy heard from Law, the boy was screaming behind Corazon's den den mushi asking Doflamingo's help to save him from the kidnap.
The last thing Law heard from Doffy was that he'll raise Law to die for him. And then, gunshots.
Doflamingo didn't know what happened during the time Law spent with Corazon to have changed him drastically. Hell, he probably never realized Law loathed him to this extent, until Punk Hazard incident.
And Law simply didn't know Doflamingo - period. He was a child, Doflamingo was an adult. Law thought he understood Doffy for their similar vengefulness but that's all he knew. He did not actually know what was the relationship like between the two brothers. All he knew were some vague information and warnings he learned from Rosi.
It was evident, Law was trying to spill reactions from Doflamingo - to actually know him. What does Doffy think of the Ds? How would he react if he knew Law is a D? He asked because this was the day he was finally learning about the man he had hated for 13 years.
What's Law's position in the qualm between the brothers? He's an outsider. I'm sure Law acknowledged that Rosinante betrayed Doffy first. There could be doubt stemming from the lack of detailed background information. There could be guilt, as Doflamingo saved Law and gave him home. So when Doflamingo mockingly said <what Law wanted to hear>, Law was assured and landed the kill blow without hesitation.
In Law's logical mind, the revenge was to complete a task Corazon couldn't, for he owed Corazon his life. But the passion and hate makes it obvious, Law was releasing his own pent-up anger. Doflamingo took away a person that meant Law his world, a person that melted his heart and taught him to love again. How dare he.
And Doflamingo knew it all too well, sarcastically uttering a provocative speech and tanking Law's attack so he could stand when Law would lay exhausted, so he could crush Law's head.
See now THIS is the kind of strife I LOVE to sink myself into.
Doffy!
