- when/how do you think the internal band power dynamics changed? did harry hold weight as the most recognisable? did louis plus followers of zayn or liam always lead a majority?
- what do you think where the main points of tension in the band?
- do you think they are all aware/realistic about low chances of getting back together?
- how long until you think harry will be totally separated from 1D in the gp?
- do you think someone will write the tell all? If so, what would you want to know? what would/wouldn't surprise you?
- harry will never fully be separated from 1d. justin timberlake isn't fully separated from nsync, beyonce isn't fully separated from destiny's child, etc. that doesn't have to be a bad thing either! but he is already separated from 1d, he doesn't need that tacked on after his name for the gp to know him
- i don't think we'll ever get a tell all in that sense no. liam would be your most likely imo, zayn has given a little bit of an auto-bio thing but it wasn't a tell all. i've said this before but for as angry as they all seemed to have been at different times or as much as they're not close, they do all still keep it on lock about each other and anything that happened. they could all say shit, they could all ruin each other. and it's interesting to me that despite some comments here or there, they're not saying anything. which is also why i think you won't get a tell all
- i think they're all very realistic about getting back together and know it won't happen. i think it was louis who even admitted it was essentially down to harry and wouldn't happen. they play the game for fans and to keep the interest and all that, it's the same reason they spun the "18 months" story during the break up but it's all empty. they know there's nothing.
- i think the big tension started in the time between take me home and midnight memories, there's a shift in the general energy/vibe of the band and in their relationships with each other. watching them on stage during wwa versus tmh is a complete shift, they also start to calm down in interviews and there's separations going on. this is also when they started to write for themselves and break out that way, so you're naturally going to start getting that tension there. they didn't need to rely on each other so much anymore, they were making other friendships and learning the industry and weren't so isolated in this journey from x factor so you lose a lot of that baby friendship "we have to stick together" thing. i don't think harry necessarily held more weight, but there could've been and probably was tension bc of his recognition and fame level. it can breed it in bands like 1d esp where they're all famous in their own right and each had their own fan groups. so they'd all be hyper aware of who is more known etc. i know some people theorize harry never got his songs to be a single bc lilo pushed for their songs so hard. idk how i feel about that esp bc i think wdbhg was supposed to be a single but four became the forgotten album w/ promo bc of everything going on.
