I need to be frankly honest, I do like the design, yeah, but I still do not feel I could lean what I want to for the species. But here's some quick, you know, design for them, if you wanna know.

I need to be frankly honest, I do like the design, yeah, but I still do not feel I could lean what I want to for the species. But here's some quick, you know, design for them, if you wanna know.
You know what? I kind of like the species I created. I do not have a name for them yet, but I like their concept: the idea of an alien species who can feel each other, but also still create an evil. And be interesting to explore their biology. I want them to have more alien-like features, but I guess their head tail is already alien enough. And also, by the way, their design is just a sketch for now.
Last Sophonts!
At last, I have finished— Mergators are sophonts that are native to planet aptum, they evolved in temperate river deltas and banks, they’re octopods that use their 2 hind pairs as paddling fins while the front pair are either used in seizing prey or manipulating objects and tools. They evolved as ambush predators akin to crocodiles, however they used simple traps to capture and seize prey, they have the largest variety of domesticated mammals, from herded fish-like or cattle-like animals, to traveling shark/whale-like beasts of burden, to dog-like hunting partners, and several others.
There is a significant size disparity between males and females has caused misandry and the de”human”ization of males, being treated more as pets to be mated with. It was only in the late colonial era when comparably ‘radical’ scientists tested the intelligence of males with results suggesting equal intelligence to females. Since then the global relations between males and females has been very unstable, with groups of males even enacting violence on females, for better or worse. Since their discovery just under a century ago, the interstellar network has made an effort to help males gain their rights, however further interference with the problems of mergators societies would be deemed as a soft form of colonization that can’t be tolerated on another note, here are some other things, a sketch of the group of aliens that would make first contact with humanity, one of them looking at the wreckage with a growing feeling the civilization here may have destroyed themselves. the second thing is just a bunch of concept art i made in march, there are sketches of a previous idea i had for the Spidarrots, they were previously called the "Lionsparrows". among other concepts. the last thing was also march concept art of some bullcrap aircrafts i made, probably stuff in the "Final War" (Nonchalant lore mention oooo...)

Philip, my character
pink with yellow
yellow with blue and red
got brown,
So, meet Philip. Right now I'm designing Philip. This is not his final design, it's just a sketch I created, but I want to ask you guys' opinion which color scheme do you like of him, because right now I'm thinking which color scheme I'm probably gonna like. We got brown, we got pink with yellow, and we got yellow with blue and red. After all, I'm seeing different color schemes you guys would like about his design.
definitely I will change the design up to the final result. And also again, this is not the promised design I have for him.
I'm doing some project of an alien planet. The planet these creatures came from have more oxygen than Earth. The planet itself similar to size to Earth, and these creatures fill the same niche as birds and as bugs
I like this design of them now. Yeah, it's definitely changed from their sketch, but I do like it. It kind of gives the vibe of a fish, but also has like a bird.
Okay, so I made the final sketches of this creature, and I decided to pick this one, this tooth. I don't know if I like this design or not. It's okay to me, it's not the best, but it is okay.

Concept art for a book in writing
The green one is military, the orange one is for industrial workers.
couple of drawings showcasing some of my trek spec bio designs, bit of info below images
Cardassian - evolved for a wetland environment, mostly piscivores. not great at running and are a bit clumsy on dry terrain. 2nd, very limited mobility serrated ”beak” jaw inside the main beak. based their design off herons and bitterns
Klingon - evolved for a dry, cold tundra environment, omnivorous, willing to eat most things due to their harsh environment, digestive system is similar to vultures. based their design off ratites and vultures
Ferengi - evolved for a semi-aquatic lifestyle in heavy rain and dense forests, insectivorous. rather low on the “food chain” in their habitat. shiny shell only appears during breeding season. based their design off cephalopods [and those land octopus from the future is wild lol]
Not so different after all

Recycling ideas and sophont designs to make something new but here's one I liked
They don’t know it yet, but in a few years they are going to meet some very special people.
Shrume.
Recently watched project Hail Mary and got a bit of inspiration, enough to at least finish my model cheat for these flying disasters of a species.
 I love the species design
Unicorn
And also, I tried to make the body seem like a rhino's, but also kind of horse-like, but I don't think I did it right
I redesign my first poster and create a new one. More information is available in the reblog on my blog
Can't believe I never posted my sophonts here
Also I guess a reminder I actually do more spec stuff than actual paleoart
More content on them uhhh some day
