just as a small update to anyone checking on fic updates, i've been hit with the triple whammy this december... started new job (dream job! yay!), holidays, and caught a bug that still currently has me down.

i'm hoping to update both in-progress chapter fics in mid-january and next updates thereafter should come a bit quicker.

hi, i know this message is not exactly timely so feel free to take or leave it, but i happened to discover you've privated your incomplete stuff and wanted to extend my condolences about your computer woes and lost material. i hope life soon grants you the time and energy to revisit/rewrite, if that's still something you want to do. in the meantime, is there any chance you'd unprivate When We Were Small? iirc it was a one-shot you were leaving open to continuation, so obviously no pressure, just casting a vote of interest and general support for your creations!

hi, sorry this response is late and thank you for the kind message! i did lose the unpublished material (karma for making readers wait?). i’m not sure if i’ll pick those specific fics back up anytime soon, although i do have some works i’ll likely be putting up on ao3 before the end of the year!

i plan on keeping the unfinished works private on ao3 for now, but i’ll upload the pdfs to tumblr later this evening in case anyone still wants to read them. thank you for reaching out! :)

hello! I just recently came across your fics and your writing style is so enchanting, these fics are very good! I saw your author note on chapter 2 of "you don't know when to quit", about having to post the next chapter later due to laptop repair stuff. i notice that you haven't seemed to be active on twitter since around then, and the same seems true of tumblr except for recently, so I suppose that means laptop repairs didn't go well :( and maybe you lost files

i hope you're doing alright. i'm curious about what your current status is regarding writing and uploading, but more than anything I hope things haven't been too bad for you. Wishing you the best, and thank you very much for sharing the writing that you have. ^^

this is a very sweet message. hopefully you see this reply somehow since it's 2.5 months late. you're spot on: i did lose the files for the fic and shortly after transitioned to a new job so i didn't have the time to devote to re-writing. maybe i'll finish it someday! that said, if you want to dm me off anon, i can share the pieces that i do have, and tell you what the overall story beats were planned to be.
