Set out to do the 10km tanglefoot loop with the hound, anticipating high winds and rain. Actually found snow and a landslide instead. Needless to say we did not do the loop!

Took a few days off work and managed to take this guy down to explore Point Addis. Fun fact for any Australian dogblrs, large parts of the surf coast walk are dog friendly, just check the signs before you set off. Don't be surprised if people shun you for having a dog in a national park though...

@ratherlargedog this is the goldfields track just off Tipperary Springs, heading towards Bendigo. It's super pretty and not hugely popular during the cooler months. We did run into one lady with her off leash basenji but that was it. Watch out for mineshafts and reptilian friends though.

There's also a lovely 15km trail from the lake and finishing at the central springs.

Braved the cold and wind on Saturday to hike between all the tourist points on Mount Macedon. Somehow his royal highness wasn't satisfied with almost 15kms and we had to stroll around one of the picnic grounds for an extra 40 mins...
