Today enjoy "Sea Rose" by H.D. http://on.nypl.org/1jZLyEV Rose, harsh rose, marred and with stint of petals, meagre flower, thin, sparse of leaf, more precious than a wet rose single on a stem- you are caught in the drift. Stunted, with small leaf, you are flung on the sand, you are lifted in the crisp sand that drives in the wind. Can the spice-rose drip such acrid fragrance hardened in a leaf?

NYPL: Dongan Hills Library turned 2 today! Yah! Who knew Tumblr would mark our 2 year anniversary with them by posting a virtual cupcake to celebrate the occasion. How awesome is that. Celebrate our anniversary with us by coming in to the library and borrowing some reading materials.
