💜 Fortune favours the daring. I had such a lovely time tonight with my favourite people. This is what you struggle for - this is what makes your struggle worthwile: friends, music, drinks, pictures, fun, London, thoughts and emotions, bravery, rebellion, moments of pure feeling and happiness and music music music, always, forever. Making the mundane magnificent and fleeting and so, so dear and precious. When every passing minute you feel like everything is too much to handle but you wouldn’t have it any other way. Dancing and blagging, begging, stealing and borrowing, smiling, singing, laughing, crying your way through life. & is there any other way of living? Take the heartbreak, the joy, the tears and the laughter, the struggle, the sadness, the anxiety, the elevation and the flight - and run with it. Revel in it. Feel everything - always. Be weird. Follow your dreams. Say what you want to say. Enjoy yourself. Support the underdog, the lost cause. Don’t feel guilty about your so called guilty pleasures. Don’t be indifferent. Cry, laugh, be mad, be disappointed, be kind, be understanding, be happy, miserable, hopeful, distraught, tired, bouncing, confused, confident. But do remember: you always have so much to live for, and never lose your faith in love and music. “Life sucks in a beautiful kind of way.”
I can’t believe we won the bloody pub quiz hahah! Or basically became 2nd but the person who won wasn’t there anymore so they disqualified him and ta-dah. That is the story of my life, repeating itself again, right there. That quiz was actually crazy. There were first tiny snippet pictures of various Libs/Shambles/DPT covers you had to recognize, then 50 questions and 10 song snippets played backwards you had to recognise. Some of the questions were just ridiculously extreme, like asking to which Hancock episode certain borrowed bit refers to etc. We got 3.5 points more than Tony Linkin, that is actually fairly worrying?? Then again we were six. But still, worrying in all honesty. John turned up again, with Gary. The night ended with me explaining to them about our milk purchases at some off licence down Park Way at 11:30pm.
Oh godss it’s only(’only’ *_*) the second night of Dublin Castle events and R+L before that and I’m sitting here with the most silly grin on my face. Not even that stressed about the tickets tomorrow, somehow it feels like everything will be alright and sorted out, one way or the other. The best of times with the dearest people. Loving life loving life it’s the life as it always should be. As if every piece coming together finally. For once.
Tonight at Dublin Castle was so, so much fun. Was in the company of some dear friends, loved seeing all the photos, had a chat with Roger, met quite a few other fans, got given these prints and just as we were by the door, contemplating on leaving, John popped in :D
(not even joking, was looking at that Guardian article and said I’d love to have that photo as a print. Never be careful what you wish for!) Also, there’ll be news later today!!!

[When Sir Patrick Stewart was asked to describe Sir Ian McKellen’s early days on the british stage]
Look at that smug face. And he’s doing a little dance!! You can see he’s victory dancing in his head xD [x]
Okay but

I mean:
(Ian McKellen as Hamlet, 1971. I mean, honestly.)
I MEAN, FAIR. For real. McKellen was a dreamboat.
