So if you follow me on my MODELS_EAT Instagram you would know how excited I am about my Tahini Chocolate Fudge! I have made lots of recipes that involve a chocolate base like my Chocolate Truffle Balls and my Raw Chocolate Cups, but this fudge definitely takes the win!
The recipe is incredibly easy and makes the perfect holiday gift. Today I delivered my Raw Cookies http://modelcitizenn.com/2015/12/14/raw-cookies/ posted earlier today and my Tahini Fudge to my Toronto agency, Sutherland Models.
So here it goes…my healthy, raw, gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free FUDGE!
Ingredients:
1 cup of Tahini
3/4 cup of raw carob powder or cocoa powder
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1/2 of maple syrup (I choose maple syrup over honey because it is vegan friendly)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp of vanilla
1 tsp of salt
1 handful of pomegranate seeds (Optional)
You could also add nuts as a topping. I think pistachios would look great and taste amazing!
Instructions:
Heat the tahini and coconut oil on low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and add the carob powder, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir together.
Pour the mixture into a parchments paper lined pan.
Rest for 1 hour. Sprinkle the sea salt and pomegranate seeds.
Cut into bite sizes. Place in the fridge for 3 hours.
