The Handjerks

When I first listened to Happy Princess by the Handjerks I was hooked - a throaty deep voice paired minimal pop compositions was a winner to me. I wanted to listen more and know everything about ‘them’. And It turns out the creator of these lo-fi tropical juicy sounds is a one-man-band Berliner who curiously started making music after quitting guitar lessons. We had a little chat about what’s behind some of the lyrics and one of the biggest threats to Berlin.
