Account going dormant
Due to reasons I removed from this post, my account is going dormant (at least for now).
There’s no need to worry about anything, I’m totally fine - just leaving by personal choice and a bit of burnout.

Can we get a subcategory of lovecore called aromantic lovecore and it’s just like regular lovecore except there’s a lot more “fuck amatonormativity” involved? Like conversation hearts that say “romance is boring” and “love isn’t everything” and “fuck love”. Hearts in the colors of the aro flag but all pastel and cutesy hung up on someone’s door or above their bed. Red rose petals in the shape of a heart with an x over it. And for the romance favorables something like “I love romance but I don’t love you <3″ I think that sounds cool right?? Thoughts?
Anti-Valentines
The first batch of anti-valentines is here thanks to a collab with @arosuggestions !
First three designs are by me, last three are by him
It was great to work with you! Thank you for the opportunity.
valentines day is not about romance or “love” it never will be. its about HEART SHAPED THINGS and THE COLORS RED AND PINK.

YESSSSSS
idea: "anti-valentines" that have the aesthetic of valentines but say things like "buying each other chocolate won't magically solve your relationship problems" and "communicate or break up" and "why are there so many cartoon hearts get them away from me"
50’s diner date aesthetic except we aren’t dating and we have our own respective goddamned milkshakes ‘cause I don’t wanna share mine. >:)
A group of friends I know have a special tradition. They call it Delilah Day. It was created in response to society’s obsession with romance – particularly, Valentine’s Day. They spend the fifteenth of February buying discounted chocolates and writing love letters to their friends. Instead of “will you be my Valentine?” they ask “will you be my Delilah?” And there’s no limit to how many people you can ask!
I hope everyone enjoys Valentine’s Day this Sunday. Remember, being single is no cause for sadness. Being without a partner does not mean you’ll “die alone”. You will have wonderful friends, worthy of writing love letters to. You will have at least one Delilah. 💗
New word: Xush
Xush (pronounced “zush”): umbrella term for “crushes”; word for a non-specific crush. alternative to calling them all “crushes”, since that can get confusing since crush is already used for a specific type of crush (romantic). Spelt with an x to indicate the non-specificity of it.
Example uses:
Ex. 1: “I have a xush on [character]!” “Oh, what kind?” “I don’t know exactly, but it sure is a xush!”
Ex. 2: “Crushes, squishes, and meshes are three types of xushes that are usually based on emotional feelings”
Hi, I love this.
Anyone want to join my "aros who are into lovecore but are afraid to talk about it because people are gonna assume shit" gang?
yes!! lovecore is SO PRETTY it’s such a vibe
The aro urge to create lovecore content except with all the hearts upside-down.
I just realised why I find myself thinking about alloaros and loveless aros possibly just as much as I do about my own identity. I am a lovequeer aroace and I relate to a lot of posts that I see online but I immediately notice when most of these posts don't really include or sometimes even erase the experiences of alloaros and loveless aros. Sometimes it bothers me to the point that I feel frustrated and a bit sad when people don't acknowledge that they also exist and just generalize some things because they think they apply to all of us. And even when their experiences are acknowledged, they still face discrimination even inside the community which shouldn't by any means be tolerated! So I want you all to know that I, as a person who doesn't fully relate to your experiences but indeed thinks that they are very very valid and real, support you with all my might and I hope that many others will also keep being more aware and completely accepting of your experiences! The same also goes for partnering aros, who might feel erased sometimes as well or feel 'not aro enough' which is definitely not true (coming from a non-partnering/nonamorous aro). Aces who enjoy sex and/or like sex in fiction are definitely not any less ace either and aros who like flirting and enjoy romance are valid af too and perhaps also not talked about enough. And that also applies to anyone else on the aromantic and/or asexual spectrum who does experience romantic and/or sexual attraction or has a very specific experience and feels the same way. And last but not the least, the same thing goes for those who experience or don't experience other forms of attraction and don't always feel included! You are all so valid and amazing and I hope you found spaces where you feel completely understood and accepted just as you should be!!!
Destroy the myth that liking someone for their looks is “shallow”. It’s not. What’s shallow is liking a person’s looks, and not treating them as a person *because* of that.
