Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison first met each other sometime late at night March 6 or March 7, 1968 at a jam session at the New York City nightclub, the Scene to be frank, it's less of a collaboration between Hendrix and Morrison than a Hendrix jam session interrupted by Morrison staggering drunkenly on stage and yelling obscenities. According to The Doors Interactive Chronological History,

On this night, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin are in the club. Hendrix is on stage jamming with a group of musicians playing drums, bass, and second guitar. Jim, during one of the bluesier jams and heavily intoxicated, jumps up on stage and begins to wail some very obscene lyrics. As the song progresses Jim doesn't. He soon collapses on the stage grabs Hendrix by the ankles and then clumsily drags himself away knocking a table of drinks over into Janis's lap! She retaliates "I wouldn't mind... if he could sing". Hendrix is not impressed by Jim's behavior and a little upset.

The next and last time that Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison met each other was at an April 2, 1968 concert in Montreal at the Paul Sauvé Arena. Just like the previous month, Jim Morrison drunkenly interfered with Jimi Hendrix performance. Harry Shapiro and Caesar Glebbeek's Jimi Hendrix: Electric Gypsy describes the incident as follows:

Amid all the chaos, Jim Morrison tried to get on stage. British soul star Geno Washington saw what happened next: 'The place was fuckin' packed, the people are going ape shit, Jim Morrison is drinking his drink and staggers up to the front of the stage, "Hey Jimi! Jimi! Let me come up and sing, man, and we'll do this shit together." So Jimi goes, "That's okay, fella, I can handle it myself." And he said, "Do you know who I am? I'm Jim Morrison of the Doors." "Yeah," said Jimi, "I know who you are—and I'm Jimi Hendrix."

Lightning Fast….

The English Electric Lightning is a British fighter aircraft that served as an interceptor during the 1960s, the 1970s and into the late 1980s. It was capable of a top speed of above Mach 2. The Lightning was designed, developed, and manufactured by English Electric. After EE merged with other aircraft manufacturers to form the British Aircraft Corporation it was marketed as the BAC Lightning. It was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF), the Kuwait Air Force (KAF), and the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

There were two Lightning variants, the Lightning F.1A and F.2, incorporated relatively minor design changes; for the next variant, the Lightning F.3, they were more extensive. The F.3 had higher thrust Rolls-Royce Avon 301R engines, a larger squared-off fin and strengthened inlet cone allowing a service clearance to Mach 2.0 (2,450 km/h; 1,522 mph) (the F.1, F.1A and F.2 were limited to Mach 1.7 (2,083 km/h; 1,294 mph)).[39] The A.I.23B radar and Red Top missile offered a forward hemisphere attack capability and deletion of the nose cannon. The new engines and fin made the F.3 the highest performance Lightning yet, but with an even higher fuel consumption and resulting shorter range. The next variant, the Lightning F.6, was already in development, but there was a need for an interim solution to partially address the F.3's shortcomings, the Interim F.Mk6.
