Years ago I came across a really fantastic fic about Johnny/Mark being exes and slowly finding back to each other. All I remember is that it started with Taeyong enlisting and packing up his apartment and that Mark wanted a break from the job to go to Canada with Johnny, who didn't know why and said something like "My mom likes you more than me, unfortunately" and then Johnny telling Ten "I'm sorry I turned him into an asshole" to which Ten replied Mark is only an asshole to him.

Mark can't sleep, he searches for Johnny. Johnny suggests him to count stars, Mark laughs, considering it silly. Johnny goes to Mark's room, willing to distract him until he gets sleepy enough. Jokes between them comes naturally, but Johnny stops to look at Mark's tired face sometimes. They sing along, laugh at each other, or just talk about anything, until Mark unconsciously gets closer to the window. Maybe Johnny's idea isn't very silly after all. Mark looks at the starry sky, he sighs. Feels exhausted, doesn't even realize when Johnny approaches by his side. Johnny looks at him, he realizes that he doesn't need to look at the sky anymore. Stars are reflected in Mark's eyes, he smiles. Mark notices he's being observed and instead of doing something about it, he smiles back. He's so tired that he doesn't even know when he leans onto Johnny's shoulder. Johnny wraps Mark's waist with his arm and attracts him more to his body as he's closer to Mark's warmth. Rest his chin on Mark's head and sighs too. Just so, Mark can finally fall asleep, but Johnny's head is busy.
Johnny just thinks about the only thing he wants to do is count stars with Mark.
Mark has some pretty serious thoughts about coffee.
