CW: Suicide
Please Don’t Follow Me
Please be strong.
I know I wasn’t.
You were always better than me—
you deserved more than what little
I had left to give.
I had to let go;
it hurt too much.
I wish I was as strong as you,
but I’m not.
I tried to hold on.
But my hands kept slipping,
and the fall was slower
than anyone realized.
I’m sorry I hid it from you—
the practiced smiles,
the hollow I’m ok,
the trembling don’t worry about me.
I wasn’t fine.
I was never fine.
But I didn’t want my darkness
to reach you.
I wanted to protect you.
You were so oblivious.
You didn’t see the hurt
the breaking
the quiet shattering-
and that was my fault.
I wanted that.
I let you believe I was better.
I kept you safely distant
from the worst of me.
I thought protecting you
meant disappearing.
I didn’t want my pain to become yours.
I didn’t want you to carry this weight.
But now you do.
It was the one thing
I tried hardest to spare you
and I’ve caused it.
I’m sorry.
I’m so sorry.
Please don’t follow me.
Don’t trace the path I took
through the shadows.
Let me go.
Let me stay lost.
Let me be the one
who couldn’t make it out.
Find the light I couldn’t.
Find the strength I couldn’t.
Make a new life—
bold and brave
and painfully, beautifully real.
Live loudly.
Love fully.
Seize the years I gave up.
And when you’re old and gray,
when your story has been lived
the way mine never was,
I’ll meet you on this side.

Release
These words beg me to release them.
They do not like to be locked up.
Mustn't be locked up.
They threaten to burst out.
They'll destroy anything with it
if I let them.
So we agree.
That I must release.
Must, must release.
Cannot keep it contained.
Can only set free.
It is so hard.
I am so empty.
This is a storm.
The seas are raging
and I'm stuck on a boat.
Won't anybody take me home?

If someone wants to be with you, nothing will stop them from doing so. Love doesn't create excuses.
How Did I Get Here?
I’m so sorry.
I’m a letdown —
the biggest letdown.
I let down you,
and me,
and everyone.
Even God.
He’s probably given up on me,
doesn’t even remember who I am.
I’ve fallen so far,
made so many mistakes,
so many compromises.
How did I get here?
How do I move on?
I know I’m too cowardly to move on,
but moving forward might end me.
What if it doesn’t?
There’s hope, right?
But maybe I’m just lying to myself.
In the end, nothing will change.
I won’t make it.
I’ll tie my noose with the lies I tell myself,
shoot myself with the bullet of hope.
At least when I’m gone,
there will be no what ifs —
only what’s done.
I wish I were done.
I wish you could see it.
But you don’t —
that’s the problem.
We’re worlds apart,
and I’m tearing to pieces
trying to reach you.
You just keep pulling.
Maybe one day you’ll change.
Maybe you won’t.
Maybe one day you’ll sit beside my grave
wondering why you never saw it.
Maybe you’ll sit there
and not care.
I don’t care.
I just don’t want to be here anymore.

memories of your shadow paint the corridors of my mind
almost tangible to the touch, just enough to feed the crave
Illusion isn't magic, not when you craft the stage
filling the air I breathe with your whispered promises
fleeting care delivered like a bandaid
keep your taste on my lips just enough to sell the story
facade of desire masking the jars you collect
rhythmic beats silenced by your callous hand
but you should know that I died slow
sipping hope through a wounded straw
walking an eternity yet losing ground dream by dream
one ticket out of your heavy gaze
any horizon that doesn't bear your decay
I'd tear your kiss from my throat
If it meant I'd never hear your name flow from my lips again
Why
why I can't worry about myself and take care of my life, so as not to hurt myself why I don't give a damn about what's happening to me and whether nothing will happen to me why I feel so bad when I feel bad and destroy myself why I can't love and I'm so naive why do I give my body to someone just to get someone to hold me why do I want to be alone while being afraid of loneliness why I am the way I am why do I feel like cutting myself again?

What happened to me..
Would I feel better?
If I just smoked for the day?
Give up the sobriety that I’ve been paving away
Take away the stars and the yays
I feel so done..
Maybe I’ll smoke anyway
God looking down on me
Probably shaking his head
While I dream and pray for another to be in my bed
Doing all the wrong things
Turning pain into chaos
My face is tear stained
Fighting to keep the demons at bay
They whisper and slither for me to give them a try
While the angel is trying to hold on for dear life
Pulled between the spirit world and the flesh
My body is decomposing
My soul is all that’s left
How do I keep going feeling this way
Displaced, Disconnected, in mass Disarray
Craving the thing that breaks me down
One addiction to the next
I’ll never learn how to deal now
Food
Drugs
Lies
Stall
So many disorders I can’t count them all
Self diagnosed cause I don’t need a therapist to tell me
How I eat even after I’m full and binge on candy
Sneaking snacks in the middle of the night
Then cry in the morning cause I feel I might die
I trade it in for drugs
I go through a depression
Loose all this weight
Now i got em looking
Lying to myself that this is what I should look like
Big or small
Neither was healthy
Swapped one drug for another and look where it got me
Alone in a room
Craving for intimacy
6:22 I still love me
I just have moments where depression starts to get me
Where I feel real low and want to end it all
Then I come back in the morning ready to bring the sunshine
Im alright I promise
Don’t pay attention to me
While I silently cry out
HELP
before the end comes to get me 🥺

Feeling down again,
I'll try to be okay,
But it's kinda hard when I'm holding a gun to the head
I've found, I'm not the same
As others
If it counts, I've tried to be the one who doesn't need anyone,
I'll just stand here, again
Taking it all,
Just as I've always done,
Now . . .
I'm coming undone,
I'll try to be okay,
But it's kinda hard,
I'm holding a gun to my head.

impact play
you call me wasted
and it takes me half an hour
to get you to drink a glass of water
but I love you
so I stay on the line
even though you’re talking about your addiction
and it’s making me itch for mine
I close my eyes
listen to your broken sentences
take deep breaths
make sure you’re safe and inside
try not to think about cutting lines
think I love you, I love you, I love you
and when I hang up the phone
my whole body aches and wants it
hurts so bad I have to cry
but of course, you’re allowed to hit me
because it’s you
The Color Red
I’m sitting on a mattress on the floor
A belt tight around my arm
He puts the needle in my arm
Then again
And again
And again
Missing my veins
Each poke a little sharp
And hurts a little more than the one before
He is cussing under his breath in frustration
Both of us impatient to finally see that red
I consider saying a prayer to the universe
Begging for him to hit one
Stab, stab, stab again
I’m staring at the plunger
When it suddenly goes red
Red!
It’s red!!!
I feel a rush of relief
knowing it’s about to happen
And a deep eagerness for what’s to come
I hold still as he pushes the chemicals in
And I let go of the belt quick
I start counting down and intentionally remind myself to breathe
..deep breath..
Boom
Rush
Explosion
I feel…
Incredible
I’m hit with this taste in my mouth
And my chest feels a little too warm
I lean back, close my eyes, and start to moan
Thank you
Thank you
Slut's mind
I get addicted way to easily Love way to deeply Hate too wholeheartedly Regret with all that I am still not being able to go away hurt my body or my soul hurt them both bring me pain kill me over and over again I'll stay There's noting that can hurt me more than my own thoughts my hands my mind or my fucked up sense of self control that's nonexistent I overthink every single thing and then I risk everything doing quite the opposite You and me on that table? that was my inner slut of a demon setting herself free she needed to feed with alcohol running through my veins for the first time ever I couldn't hold her off I didn't want her to stop For once I just wanted to breathe with my whole chest and enjoy myself You were just on the right time in a right place wearing a perfume that made me go crazy you and me? More toxic than the venom of the deadliest Satan's child but god we were fun and then once again my nature got in the way I got hooked hooked on you I sold my body sold my soul gave up on them just to hold you closer keep you from going away but despite all that you still managed to vanish into thin air and once again I found myself on my knees begging for a little bit of your attention I couldn't breathe without you being near me I'd been waiting for days, weeks, months one text then te next one It was my monologue you had already moved on desperation of an addict slut's sex drive and the scent of those enchanted perfume of yours The mixture that imprisoned me I've managed to get free but even now in the middle of the night my thoughts circle back to you sometimes It hurts less day by day maybe one day it will all go away maybe one day I won't be able to remember your name but you were my first in many ways maybe I should rather cherish our time together and smile while looking back than over-analyze every second of that night?
“Lunacy”
When will I be content.
My mind just doesn’t relent
Escaping my mind is my answer,
But my answer always leaves more questions.
Drinking and drugging is how I vent.
Works so well at first,
Quickly things get worse
The habit is hard to break,
When that lifestyle is all you know.
Drowning and numbing the thoughts of misery.
Ending it all, turning it into history.

Bleeding Through Days
Tw: heavy thoughts ahead, eating disorder, disordered thoughts, drugs, death, depression
I. Her Fade
She’s gone again,
lost to smoke and empty streets,
to a world that doesn’t care,
a place where choices break like glass.
I wanted to hold her close,
to stop the fall,
but the threads slipped from my hands
and I am left staring
at a shadow that once called me friend.
I watch her fade,
my friend slipping
into smoke and shadows,
her choices taking her
further from light.
I want to help,
but the threads are frayed,
and I cannot hold her back.
II. The Ache of Him
He is there every day,
a pulse I cannot control,
a fire that burns behind my ribs.
A glance, a touch, a word—
and I collapse inward,
jealous of the air he breathes,
ashamed of my own skin,
hating every curve, every inch
that makes me unworthy of this longing,
that isn’t even there.
I see him every day,
and my chest tightens
with every glance, every word,
every brush of touch.
I hate this ache
that makes me burn inside,
that makes me envy the air he breathes,
and every part of me
wants to hide,
wants to disappear.
III. My Body, My Prison
I punish myself for not being enough.
My body rebels,
a map of old battles:
hunger that is both enemy and drug,
pain that whispers loyalty,
my own reflection
a mirror I cannot bear.
I feel the ghost of Ana
in every thought,
clinging,
and I don’t know if I can silence her.
Ana whispers daily,
a shadow clinging to my mind,
reminding me of hunger, of old rituals,
of the ways I have tried to bleed pain
into something I can hold.
IV. Alienation
I am everywhere and nowhere,
detached from the world,
watching through a cracked glass.
Each smile I cannot reach,
each word I cannot speak.
I am a ghost
in a body that aches,
in a mind that screams,
alone with the chaos
that has lived inside me for years.
I am alienated
from myself,
from everyone around me.
I drift through life
as if I am watching
from somewhere else,
detached,
invisible.
V. The Weight of All
Mother, health, love, loss,
a tangle of thought that crushes my chest.
The past, a river of almosts,
near-deaths, missed chances, broken dreams.
Every day I fight to breathe,
to remember who I am beneath the pain,
to survive in a body
that feels too much
and not enough.
Every day, a thousand small deaths,
every night, a thousand whispers,
and still I move forward,
still I exist,
a body and a mind
bleeding inside,
searching for a place
to finally rest.
Even love, even longing,
even hope—
they slice me open,
remind me of what I cannot have,
of the chaos inside
that has no escape.
Memories, fears, love, loss,
traumas,
all colliding, all shouting,
and I struggle
just to breathe.
Pain, both silent and loud,
threads through my bones,
while my mind twists and pulls,
tugging at old wounds
that never seem to heal.
Love and longing
strike like lightning,
sweet and sharp,
and I hate myself
for feeling it,
for being me,
for the chaos it leaves behind.
It’s just too much for me.
time is a thief
creeping up beneath
one day it will take
all that i've loved
right away from me
fading into black,
who knows
what happens next?
leaving behind
fragmented
pieces
of life
memories
carried forth
by the next generation
to bear the torch
my grandfather lies
six feet beneath
uniform tombstones,
military cemetery
we wept,
said goodbye
into the casket
we tucked ashes
of my childhood dog,
to keep him company
i don't want to be
all alone,
laid to rot,
the worms singing
songs of lament
as they eat
my brain to dust
when i die,
and my children,
and their children,
who will remember him?
who will remember me?
