#i had had...#the realization #that no matter what happened #no matter how far this got #no matter how I used these characters for anything in the future- and believe me this was already made up of quite a few previous ocs #jesus christ im already chickening out #my self insert shines like a fucking DIAMOND as a middle aged mom of 4 #you didn't hear that from me forget you ever read that #and I don't know if its just that my tastes have changed over the years or something #cause I never actually quite enjoyed their character before this point- and this is a character I've grown up with #as im sure many people who read warriors as a kid did with their ocs #and the only reason I have this #the only reason I have that at ALL was because I had been bullshitting #to have that realization come with pages upon pages of prior development #no fucking way am I giving that up I #i cannot give this up I need to recover this story to the best of my ability #i am very lucky that I have what I have #but ohhhhhhhhhh my fucking god #what do you mean the only thing I had backed up in outline form from the Hazel's Bunker arc #was when Honeystar nearly kills him #are you kidding me- what the fuck is wrong with me #I was so happy when I figured that arc out finally that was my magnum opus for the last 2 months #and theres just a massive difference between having a highly detailed outline of events #and having actual writing there which I HAD and LOST #I think. i think despite that. once I get down everything I remember #im just gonna keep writing from where I left off #and like #whenever I get stuck just go back and rewrite the beginning #thats just what im gonna have to do #okay I legitimately threw up in my mouth right now thinking about it

#okay I thiiiiiink #okay. okay okay okay wait #cause theres a few points that upset me the most about this but those are also points that make it not so bad #the fact that this was only two months of work #and that work was something I was nigh obsessively doing for two months #so everything is still fresh in my head #and thats GOOD #like forbid I lose a project any other than that #like if I lost any of my sky cotl stuff you would see me on the news.#promise.#BUT ALSO on that note #it therefore had only JUST gotten to the point where I was legitimately being serious about this #and where I was having FUN #i was having so much fun #and when I lost everything I was in between a short pause in order to outline and catch my bearings and smooth out threads #so I am raring to go with or without everything that came before #but gooooddddd it huuuurts #cause the other thing is #like every few years or something and quite a few people can attest to this #every few years i make like a group of warrior cats ocs and I play around with the sheer CONCEPT of them existing #just the idea of writing about them and telling their story #I had gotten somewhat close to something back when I tried to do a clangen artlocke #which I do genuinely still cherish and while I think I may have lost the actual safefile #everything from up until I lost interest is backed up perfectly for whenever I wanna mess with it again #This?#this was the first time something had actually gotten off the ground #and it was purely because I had just been blabbing my mouth in a day to day format almost like writing a diary #for two months #and- this is gonna be more vulnerable than I would ever be in regards to this #due to the nature of this being a *self insert* warrior cats fanfic
