“fujoshis are harmful to gay men” not this gay man.
on twitter this got a bunch of responses like “wow even the evil fujoshis? the homophobic yet hypocritically fetishistic ones? what if the fujoshi is racist?” and like well no obviously not in that case.
“shoutout to everybody from new jersey!” “even the new jersey serial killers…?”
they should invent a sleep schedule. any at all
why is it that when im reading fanfic i feel like i have a fairly good metric for if something is characterized accurately but when im trying to write suddenly its like ive never seen this character in my life. would he say that. would he fucking say that. suddenly i have no idea
(guy who tags every single post as the same exact character) you know who this post reminds me of?
gothic horror is when there's a location. cosmic horror is when there's an unauthorized fucking Thing. folk horror is when you're outside.
light yagami is so fucking stupid in like a month they narrowed it down from like it could be anyone in the world.. to it could be anyone in japan to it could be anyone in the kanto region to it could be any student in the kanto region to its honestly probably one of the family members of these two policemen and my god this mans son is so fucking weird whats wrong with him like honestly i think L should have just taken the risk and hit light with a car one day and been like huh funny the kira murders stopped right this policemans son got hit by a car i asked my chauffeur to drive into him funny how that works out
(voice of a person spiralling) its embarrassing but i still havent figured out if its ok for me to be alive
i know you said we ride at dawn but i’m not a morning person actually. can we ride after lunch
Learning that you like things is so embarrassing. Everyone look at this loser who has wants and desires and gets happy when they’re met.
i've got the kind of eyebags that make people in movies say 'you look like hell, detective. go home.'
There is no drug on earth that can replicate the absolute euphoria of hitting a writing flow state at 2:00 AM. You aren’t even typing anymore. You are a vessel. You are a channel for the gods. The characters are speaking directly into your brain and you’re just the stenographer trying to keep up. You feel like you could fight a bear. You feel like you invented the alphabet
i think a big part of the reason many kids have become pretty lax about posting identifying info online is because their reasoning, more or less, goes "it's extremely unlikely someone is going to fly across the country/world to my precise geographic location and cause me physical harm, so i don't need to worry too much about strictly guarding my privacy." i'll agree with you on the first part--that situation, although not impossible, may not be especially likely--but you've completely lost me when we've concluded that just because you won't get serial killed means that there's nothing else to worry about. there are plenty of ways bad actors online can cause you immense distress without leaving their bedroom, such as:
identifying your place of work or school & sharing information (true or not) with school officials or employers that could damage your academic standing or career
stalking you via threatening phone calls, letters, packages, or email messages, which is an intensely traumatizing experience
coercing you into uncomfortable and exploitative situations by using your personal information as leverage
sending a literal swat team to your home on a false alarm, jeopardizing the lives of everyone at that residence
i am really really not meaning to fearmonger, but please be aware that a lot of harm can occur from the other side of the globe if a bad actor has enough personal information. please please PLEASE exercise immense caution when sharing anything identifying online. information is power, especially on the internet, so don't give yours away so easily
Bloopers are movie aftercare and it’s fucked up that we got rid of them

al-Haitham, who up until this moment was not aware that he possessed a young man, blinks. The auntie running the stall at the bazaar waits expectedly, crow’s feet crinkling with her smile.
or; a new rumor reaches al-Haitham's friends. It's only partially al-Haitham's fault.
