Please forgive me if I'm wrong, because I'm not entirely sure what it means to 'kin' with a character. Is it like shipping a character with an alternate version of myself? I actually have an oc who I created back when I was really into dmmd, and I always like to imagine them hanging out and living with the dmmd characters, specifically Mizuki. If I'm wrong about all of this, then please ignore me ^_^`

Hey! So being kin with a character is sort of like.. being that character. Kinning with a character doesn’t have anything to do with shipping, and not really just an ‘alternate version of yourself.’ There is every possible way to be kin with your OC, but it’s more of a personal connection in the sense of you being them, not just enjoying what they do.

(The holding hands are because Koujaku always holds Aoba’s hand before he climaxes. The cherry blossoms represent Koujaku and the water and sky represent Aoba. The playground represents that they were close since childhood. The poem by Nikita Gill, “Show me the most damaged part of your soul, and I will show you how it shines like gold,” represents that Aoba deeply cares for Koujaku and wishes to heal all his wounds.)
