Sitting on their lap without warning! ft. LCB Sinners
YI SANG is a bit taken aback but smiles soon after, assuming that you wanted to spend time with him. He’ll happily wrap one arm around you before he starts yapping about a topic he thinks you’d be interested in.
FAUST freezes up, flustered. She takes a moment to respond if she ever manages to. She awkwardly lifts her hands, unsure of where she should put them before letting them fall to her sides and acts like nothing happened.
DON QUIXOTE is immediately delighted. She squeaks something about her liege finding her worthy before enthusiastically wrapping her arms tight around you and squeezing. You may need a third party to come help you.
RYOSHU lets out a laugh, entertained, before wrapping one arm loosely around you.
MEURSAULT doesn’t react. Though depending on the context, he’ll either adjust his position a bit so you’re more comfortable or move you off his lap and onto his seat.
HONG LU doesn’t bat an eye when you sit on his lap. He simply wraps an arm around you and pulls you close against his chest while continuing on like nothing.
HEATHCLIFF is flustered, he stammers and stutters in a struggle to find something to say before giving up and letting you stay on his lap. He does cuddle you a little though.
ISHMAEL gives you an exasperated look — couldn’t you have asked? — but leaves you be on her lap. She’ll let you know that she’ll push you off the next time you sit on her lap unannounced, though.
RODION practically purrs in delight and pulls you close and tight against her. Whatever she was doing before is completely forgotten about — unless it was food — as she spoils you with her attention instead.
DANTE bluescreens. You aren’t getting them back unless you get off their lap.
SINCLAIR freezes up at first and is extremely awkward about it before letting out a nervous laugh and timidly wrapping his arms around your waist.
OUTIS is smug at the fact that you chose to sit on her lap out of everyone else. She does scold you for doing so, but she doesn’t have any intentions to push you off her lap… yet.
GREGOR doesn’t really mind it but he isn’t exactly comfortable either. He’ll put his hand on your back to make sure you stay on his lap and won’t fall but he’ll be fretting about his bug arm acting out the entire time.

Heishou Pack Wei Branch x GN! Reader
After the job offer you took with the Mao, Hongyuan felt...different. Not in a bad way, per sé, just...like something shifted.
Whatever it was, you found yourself once again with the same offer for another Branch of the Heishou Pack. This time, you'll be helping out the Wei Branch - mutated sheep people.
If it was anything like the Mao, which it sounded like it on paper, then you felt more confident going into this than you did with the Mao.
So, upon meeting one of the sheep, you were taken by surprise when they spontaneously grew a thick layer of wool around their body. Clearly, Hongyuan was not a host to your typical animals.
Additionally atypical, too, was that the Wei was shivering like it was very cold. Odd, for a creature covered in a layer of what was supposed to prevent that very issue.
The Wei looked up at you, before gently bumping its head into you, like it was gently greeting you as they lay down on the ground. They looked like a massive ball of wool, one that you weren't sure if trimming would actually be beneficial to the creature.
Nevertheless, it was probably additional weight that they would be better off without, so you sat down next to them. The creature hardly minded you as you cut down their wool a bit; they were shivering regardless. The only difference now, was how close their body was to yours.
Much like the Mao, the Wei found themself pressing against your body for warmth. The creature did feel cold to the touch, but looked happy to be cleaned up.
They were quick to take care of, staying mostly still for the entire time, which was a pleasant surprise compared to animals you've taken care of in the past.
You were just finishing up with this particular Wei before-
*Poof!*
The wool you meticulously trimmed had regrown just like that.
Though, it did look cleaner than before, and the Wei was happy enough. The wool was incredibly soft, kind of like a pillow but more delicate to the touch.
They also seemed to have stopped shivering; supposedly being near you actually affected them, hooray you!
At the same time, other Wei were looking on at the impromptu snuggling that was going on, and a few more wandered over. A couple gently bumped you, before laying down around you, which formed a circle of sheep around you. Each one was practically exploding wool...this was going to take a long time.
But, that was your specialty; handling unusual situations came with the nature of animals, so you focused on each Wei, trimming and cleaning their wool before they inevitably grew more as soon as you were done.
By the time you were done, you were surrounded by a large quantity of fluffy wool, as the Wei laid around you for warmth. One of the Wei gently nudge your hand, getting your attention as they hand you a small replica of one of their horns - another collectable trinket, like what the Mao gave you.
With how content the Wei were around you, it was becoming obvious that you were going to be stuck in what amassed to a cuddle pile for a while. Some of the Wei softly bleat, pleased that they were no longer constantly cold.
There were worse fates than this, so you made yourself comfortable in the middle of the pile, closing your eyes for a rest as the Wei fall asleep around you.
When you woke up, you found that the Wei surrounding you are gone, and left in their wake was a hat made out of their wool.
Deciding that it was time to go, you once again set back out into H Corp. a little cozier.
(Just don't mind the occasional straggler making themselves comfortable around you, or the faint bleating you think you hear somewhere in the distance - it was probably nothing, right?)
This is the big one- by far the most amount of time I've spent coming up with a plot for.
Mao Branch x GN! Reader who takes care of the branch.

Taking care of pets and animals in the city wasn't the easiest job, nor was it always stable. Quite the opposite in fact; and that unpredictability has led to...interesting times in your career that you would rather bury and forget.
But this? This was the weirdest job you've taken by far - being contacted by someone in Hongyuan to take care of a pack of animals - which on surface level, seemed not terrible. You figured that handling a couple of animals wouldn't be so bad, right? ...right?
What you were *not* expecting, was to be in charge of taking care of...mutated people? They resembled traits that of a hare, but with the structure of a human. To say that you were out of your league...would probably be a fair statement.
Nevertheless, the pay was great, and it couldn't be too difficult, right?
Pushing aside the intimidating looks - well, as much as you could - these...hares, or Mao as you've been informed, seem similar enough to rabbits.
But unlike a rabbit, trying to approach something with human-level sentience with the intent to try and clean it...is not the easiest thing to convey without getting bit, or clawed, or worse.
However, you wouldn't have to make the first move after all, as you feel something nudge your arm. And looking over, you can see one of the Mao looking up at you; it was one of the younger members - or...at least it was small, which probably meant it was young.
Regardless if it was young or not, it was still pressed up against your side, inspecting you with a keen interest. It would be adorable, if it weren't for the larger, and likely older Mao burning a hole straight through your soul with their gaze, waiting for one wrong move out of you.
But alas, there was a job to be done here, and backing out was no longer an option. Thus, with a shaky hand, you gently reach out to the little Mao, letting it sniff you. After it was satisfied, it...nuzzled your hand? Yes, it infact did, like it was asking you to pet it.
The Mao had fur like a Rabbit, if only a bit less soft than one. Still, the texture was unique...and quite satisfying to the touch. Plus, the little one seemed to enjoy it, judging by how they just...pressed themselves against you.
Well...at least you're not going to die - you hope - so what better time to get started, then right now?
So, slowly guiding the glued-body against yours, you start to clean the Mao's fur. The Hare relaxed into the attention, so you figured that they might enjoy it.
It helps that you begin to relax, letting natural instinct take over while you clean off the rabbit. After a bit, the little Mao sprung around you, clearly happy.
Looking up from it, you find that the other Mao have softened their murderous gazes - clearly content with you not being a threat to the branch - and begin to patiently wait their turn near you. Their fur is a bit thicker than the little one, but a bit softer to the touch in some parts.
The ears especially seem to be a common area that the Mao like getting attention. Their bodies relax as you gently scratch the back of their ears. Perhaps they like it a bit too much, as they let their body weight press against you, almost like an embrace...but nearly crushing you. It's the thought that counts, right?
But to say you didn't like it would be a lie; even if a bit heavy, their warmth and softness make up for the struggle. They truly were like large Hares, just...a bit more human. And much larger.
After you get the last one cleaned up, you glance at the satisfied looks the Mao have. Pleased with the care, one of them bows in front of you before handing out a small trinket. It resembles the hare logo that you've seen on their outfit, and looked quite adorable, so you accepted the gift with care.
The Mao looked content before the branch disappeared, leaving you with a reminder of your visit. Perhaps the job wasn't so bad, afterall (and perhaps this wouldn't be your last time handling the Heishou Pack).
Unknown to you, as long as you were within Hongyuan's reach, shadows might linger around you a bit longer than normal. And you haven't been bothered by anything, either, which was a first. Wonder why? Just don't pay attention to the dead body of a would-be thief getting dragged into an alley.
The Mao will remember your good deed for as long as you'll be guest to Hongyuan. And a certain lord is definitely interested in you, now.
Our favorite Brit™ deserves some love, too; so this fic is dedicated to him.

Heathcliff x GN! Reader, where Heath comforts you after distorting
"I get it, yeah? You're gonna feel like rubbish for a while, but that does not mean you have to cling to me like a teddy bear, innit?"
Truth be told, he didn't mind, really. Distorting was...awful. He knew firsthand how it felt, so he didn't blame you for what had happened; he just wished he could've prevented it.
"Mm...but you're comfortable, Heath."
He scoffed lightly - him? Comfortable?
"You must be outta your knockers if you think I'm comfortable..."
"Does it make it any less enjoyable?"
"...No, I suppose it doesn't..."
A part of him was missing this...intimacy. He had already fucked up once, he couldn't let himself repeat the same mistake.
So...that's why he let himself embrace you. It was awkward, and it was quite frankly laughable. But it was genuine. And for Heathcliff? That was something big; something to show - if only for himself - that he still cared, deep down.
"Your voice...I heard it while I was that...thing. But your voice, it broke through all of the pain...pulled me back to reality."
The admission caught him off guard - he wasn't expecting you to say that he broke you out of it. Though, you could tell he felt a bit of pride in it. The second person he reached out to, and this time he saved them...unlike...
"Don't be goin' soft on me, now. None of that sappy shite, just...I'm glad you've come to your senses, yeah? Next time I'll have to truly clobber you over your head."
"Wouldn't expect anything less from you..."
And with that, the two of you fell silent. His arms tugged a little tighter, as if growing stronger with his confidence.
He knew that he couldn't let you go, he needed you as much as you needed him.
Felt like writing something with Yi Sang, so I made this little drabble
Yi Sang x GN! Reader One-Shot
It was early in the morning - a bit too early. Your body simply refused to stay asleep, so into the realm of the living you woke up. Nobody else was awake, so what better time than to get something from the kitchen, hm?
Well, it would've been nice and quiet-
"It appears another has escaped from the nest under the night sky."
At least...it was one of the quieter sinners.
"I'm assuming you couldn't fall asleep, either?" You hummed, trying to quietly sift through the cabinets to find something to snack on.
"It has...eluded me, despite my invested efforts to capture it. Thus, I found myself here on a whim."
He quietly walked up next to you, mindlessly grabbing something before turning to the windows of Mephistopheles.
"I find myself quite drawn to the blanket of the sky." His words soft as he paused for a moment "Though...I must admit, it is far more enjoyable to be sharing its presence with you."
The smile he wore on his face was genuine - small, but genuine - as his gaze diverts toward yours.
"If the sky holds such beauty, then why are your eyes averted from it?"
"The light the stars may shine are not as illuminating as yours, thus is the reason of my attention."
His words brought out a soft chuckle from the both of you, followed by a shared silence; filled with a smile both of your faces decided to wear, as if there was an important event to attend.
"If that is the case...then perhaps we can share the moment looking at the stars together?"
"Hmm, that is a wonderful idea; to spend time with you, it would be most ideal."
Quietly, the both of you moved to the front of the bus, taking a seat next to each other. In that silence, Yi Sang softly pointed out different patterns he found in the sky.
"And that group of stars...that's our representation. The brightest, the smallest, the largest...each with their own unique identity among them all."
"And they don't have to worry about burning out - the light from the other stars is enough to illuminate even the darkest of paths..."
"Hm...a wonderful observation indeed."
You enjoyed spending time with him like this - unguarded, just...the both of you together. And eventually in that moment, you found yourself closing your eyes against his shoulder. And with a small shift, his head rested on yours.
“You’re not going to celebrate your birthday, my Lord?”
Hong Lu shook his head no, chin nestled upon his palm as he stared ahead in what you could only assume to be sheer boredom. Given the way his eyebrow twitched every now and then indicated that he was annoyed hearing the sounds of the celebration going on outside.
“…You won’t even take a little break or a vacation for today?”
“No,” he answered with a sigh, lifting his head from his chin and leaning back on his seat so he could meet your gaze. “I don’t see why I should when there’s nothing special about this day.”
Ah, right. Considering what you heard of his past, it made sense that he wouldn’t think fondly of his birthday if not outright dislike it for what it represented. Still… “That’s a shame, I already got you a gift and all.”
“You shouldn’t have.” The annoyance in his voice was more prominent this time. “But since you went through all this effort, I might as well see what you got.”
“Really? You’re not mad?”
Just the way his jaw clenched at your question was enough to fill you with joy.
“I will be if your gift isn’t anything impressive.”
…Well then, you should be careful on how you continued to pester him from now on. You doubted that he’d do anything to seriously hurt you or that he’d ever get rid of you, but his warning was a sign that you shouldn’t push his buttons too much.
You walked up to him, smiling when you saw his eyebrow furrow confusion at your empty hands. He mst’ve been expecting you to leave and come back with something.
“Happy birthday my Lord~” you sung as you unceremoniously plopped down onto his lap. “I’ll be all yours for today, that’s my gift to you.”
He stared at you for a moment, unimpressed. A short, incredulous laugh followed after before he promptly pushed you off his lap.
“My Lord!”
“Come on, let’s go,” he said, standing up from his seat and extending his hand to you. “If you’re going to continue to pester me, I might as well take you out.”
You took his hand. “Shouldn’t I be the one taking you out, my Lord?”
“I don’t trust your taste in workshops.”
“I would’ve taken you out to eat, not someplace boring!”
“I don’t trust your taste in food either.”

Y'know, a few likes may not be much, but to someone who is uncertain about what they do, each bit of support brings out more in me.

Hong Lu (LCB) comforting GN! Reader after your canto
Hong Lu knew very well what it meant to have your life altered in a way you could've never prepared for. But he also knew that what he went through would never equate the pain that someone else might feel.
So, he tried to orbit you as much as he could without disturbing you. Space was important when grieving, but support was needed just as much. Thus, he found himself doing the small things;
-making you something nice to drink in the morning
-giving you a warm, genuine smile Everytime he encountered you
-vocalizing his support for whatever you do
Anything that could remind you of your value, and a part of him wishes he could do more.
And if you do approach him yourself, he'll gladly stop anything to listen to you. But if you couldn't talk about it, that's okay! He's perfectly content to hold you in an embrace, letting his hands gently circle your back.
He will always be the first to point out the positive things in life, because he truly believes that you should focus on them!
"Ah, your smile is as warm as a nice cup of tea~ you should bring it out more~"
"Mm, you can stay in my arms as long as you'd like~"
And if you want/need to, you're always welcome to join him in his room! Though, the difference in style might surprise you at first. Regardless, Hong Lu is always there for you when you need it, and if you fall asleep on him, he softly chuckle before placing a feathered kiss to your temple.
He'll deny it in the morning, of course, but you could see his smile etch just a bit wider. That being said, he'll gladly give you a proper one, if you ask for it. He adores you! how could he not be affectionate? But he will limit himself in order to not overburden you.
Its the quiet things that he enjoys with you. He couldn't care less what the others might think, he will enjoy his time with you to its fullest.

R. Corp Hong Lu x GN! Reader
He sought you out often, something about you made his head just a bit more relieved from it's consistent drumline of pain that it finds itself in.
The stress of work had been getting to him, so he simply sought you out, plopping himself into your arms. His arms wrapped around you limply - he was exhausted, that much is obvious - and let out a deep sigh. No words were needed, as your hand automatically finds its way to his head, gliding through hair equivalent to silk. How he kept his hair so nice in spite of his work, is beyond you. But it didn't matter, since all you were focused on, was the poor deer you were holding. The embrace itself was warm - something reminiscent of a bygone, yet familiar comfort - and you could feel him melt further with each finger gliding through the strands on his head. A soft smile formed on his lips, a sight to behold - something that brought out a lingering warmth in your chest - which lets the corners of your mouth tilt up.
It was only a matter of time before the both of you answered the call of sleep in each other's arms, the night sky glistening with the soft colors of stars.
