I've been seeing a lot of She-ra mecha au stuff going around recently, or maybe its all old stuff and I've missed the party but either way I want to give my headcannons.
Keep in mind I haven't seen much about this au, I dont know to what extent it's been done before, and some of these ideas may have already been done.
If so, uh lemme know, this au sounds really cool.
Ok so im absolutely in love with the idea of She ra being a giant mech, an abandoned first one's weapon that Adora finds herself the pilot of.
As mechas are the focal point of the au I love the idea of what types of other mechs must exist in the world.
I imagine every princess has one, but more specifically, that their mechas are what would normally be their runestone.
I would hope every mecha isn't based so much on the pilot, but on their runestone.
Adoras mech looking like she ra makes sense, but the idea of having more unique and thematic designs for the other princess mechs has so much potential.
Im especially a fan of the implications on how the hoard would combat this. Definitely by making mechs of their own, which I imagine are just very large versions of the bots we usually see in the show.
The idea of Entrapta making repurposing one of those to be her own mecha is so cool.
I also love the idea of how the hoard would have thir own princess mech (the black garnet)
A jagged black and red mecha with devastating electrical attacks that poses a serious threat to the princesses.
Anyways that's my headcannons, now I want to draw so... yeah
Um, I usually don't share my thoughts here, so I hope they were enjoyable.
