I know I don't have a lot of reach here. I mean, I mostly post memes and shitposts with the occasional thought blurbs. I'm not really active with communities here so, again, I know my reach is small. I do, however, ask for some help. Even if all you do is reblog this, it'll help immensely and extend my reach.
Last week I went in for a medical procedure that was being done to identify another issue (if I had it). It went fine, but the very next day they called me saying I have cancer. I'm keeping my head above water right now, but if I said this isn't emotionally devastating granted what huge life changes it's going to make, I'd be lying.
I have a consultation appointment with an oncologist in the next state over tomorrow (Thurs, June 11th). It's an hour drive out there and an hour drive back. This will likely not be the only instance. As a way to allow myself time to get things together and make appointments, I asked my retail job to not schedule me until at least early July. I may need more time. In the meantime though, I'll only have Doordash to get an income and... in my area it sucks. Lots of people don't tip (it's far too common to get 0-3$ of a tip for large orders, especially grocery/shopping orders). Before I found out about the cancer, I went back to retail to ensure I had a stable income. So, right now, I need some help. Any help eases my financial situation and helps my roommate too. She can't possibly cover everything on her own and support me.

Share around as much as you can, and even if she reaches her goal, I'd love for people to donate/share around, as it will carry over into other weeks for food and medical bills.
It'd mean the world to me if you could do this for her, I want her to be happy and healthy, and supported during such difficult times.
Since I'm in a crap mental state due to a cancer diagnosis, I've been heavily focusing on The Amazing Digital Circus. It's become a comfort series for me. More specifically though, I've been working with my OC for the series. She's an idiot with layers. While she gets to a better spot, she's just an idiot that enables other idiots *coughCainecough*.
Anyway, here's recent art of my dumbass OC. I love her to bits but damn did she develop way more than I expected.
Hey, I'm reaching a rough point in my job situation, I'm getting a lot fewer hours than anticipated. It's not an emergency but I'd like some extra funds so I'm not constantly leaning on my family's aid.
I've only got headshots open, but for now any help is appreciated if you can spare it. The filter is to prevent scraping, it won't be in the final product.

So this past ArtFight has been great. So many lovely, talented artists attacked me(with art) and made me feel like I was on top of the world from gratitude. I did what I could to give back to them, though I never got to as many people as I would have liked to, but life had other plans, and I did what I could with the time given to me. I also got sick in the last week(and still am as of writing/posting this) so that did not help matters, but I did what I could.
I could not thank anybody enough for what was given to me since then, and then some. So again; thank you. Your kindness has given me such joy.
But here comes the hard part now; unfortunately, something has come to my attention during ArtFight, and that is that some stalkers from the last two years or so have been at their shenanigans again, and stealing/copying off my work and OCs, blatantly and unapologetically. I would not have noticed if it wasn't for the fact that some people I follow attack their OCs back. I love skimming people's works, and admiring the art they make for other people, and I was unfortunately come face to face with one of these copied characters; and all but confirming they are somehow gaining access to my work, and deliberately ripping it off to get a rise out of me.
And loathe I am to admit, it works. I get heated and upset, and baffled that to the present day, they insist on circumventing blocks that should outright prevent them from looking at my work or designs, and still decide to build their following and art hoard just to spite me(and my friends). The only reason I initially found out they did this was when I initially blocked them for blatantly ripping off a friend's OC, and it appearing in my feed. Knowing they had a falling out, I simply left without a word. They didn't deserve an explanation when their actions spoke louder than any explanation they could have tried to give me.
Months later after initially blocking them, probably about half a year after, I came across a random profile on ToyHouse, as I was removing adopt designs from my favorites that others had purchased, and noticed a recurring username. Of course I was curious and became moderately annoyed seeing the designs of the blocked group but whatever, it's not my business...until I saw a ripoff design of one of my OCs. Down to the color scheme which was barely edited. That started my initial private shutdown, though I still posted finished art pieces, as I still would like to share with the world the art I made and bits of stories I created.
But now...I can't take it anymore. I've held my head up high and continued posting in spite of their actions like this, for a good almost two years or so. I've tried to turn my back on this behavior for long enough, but I'm only human. I can't take this awful treatment any longer, all for the crime of making my own choice in blocking them. Art Fight attacks are public; that's the only reason I found out they copied off my OC in the first place. And while maybe I could have been overreacting and overthinking it, I just don't trust that to be the case knowing their past track record.
They're going to point to this as "proof" that I am the one "block evading" but unfortunately that's just not the case. Those are the only few cases I can name without it becoming too clear who it is, but I'm sick of drama and namecalling and fighting and just want to be left alone by them. That's all I ever wanted, and yet they insist on poking and prodding by doing this and stealing my designs to insult me.
Enough is enough. I've set up a queue for ArtFight attacks I've made this year, but after that, I am done. I'm leaving social media indefinitely; and restricting my work to Toyhouse authorizations and close friend Discord servers. Perhaps even just the latter; I'm terrified of the possibility of someone having gone behind my back to feed them screenshots or downloads of my work to them, but there's no proof of that, but still.
I wish it didn't have to be this way but I am not strong enough to deal with this anymore. I want to protect my art and my beloved OCs and stories, and until their attitude blows up in their faces(but considering they're still going strong two years later, I doubt it at this point), I cannot bring myself to safely post anything online publicly again.
If somehow, for some bizarre million chance reason, you find out who it is that's bothering me to this point, don't do anything. Don't confront them, don't harass them, nothing. I'm tired of petty high school level drama by full-grown adults and I don't want anybody else hurt by them. And...beware of anybody who suddenly makes a similar post after this goes up; I've heard they copy and play victim to even just the way my friends and I react to this bull. We can't have anything to ourselves, not even social media posting.
I'm talking in circles at this point though, but for those of you who follow me/have supported me over the years, thank you so much for everything. This isn't your fault. You've done nothing wrong, and couldn't have possibly known. Especially my friends, who have been nothing but supportive and kind to me over the years since this fiasco first began...I made this choice myself; I've thought about it extensively and things will stay this way for the forseeable future.
I will probably not join ArtFight next year, as that is the only place my OCs have been public enough for them to have snatched my designs from. I've had fun over the last few years, but I don't want to risk this happening ever again...or at the very least, as long as they're still trying to weasel their way in the online spaces I'm in.
From now on, I'm focusing on my family life, and my friends. I might continue using my main blog for reblogging nonsense, and maybe bluesky to support my friends, but who knows. I'm emotionally exhausted; I can't deal with this anymore.

It was the middle of the night, with the moon high in the sky. Link had parked the train at a small station in Whittleton for the night, and promptly fell asleep in one of the seats in the back of the vehicle.
Zelda was there too, but she wasn’t sleeping. She couldn’t—there was too much to think about for her to be able to relax. Even if she wanted to, there was no benefit in sleeping in her current state. She had no physical sense of tiredness, only the mental exhaustion that came with all of the events that had happened prior.
She didn’t want to think about it. But it was hard not to; having the person who basically raised you your whole life murder you one day. She should have seen it coming, she was stupid not to, she told herself.
Zelda never realized how isolated of a life she grew up with until now. She was barely able to leave the castle, let alone castle town after Tetra died and Cole slipped in as second in command, taking custody of her. She remembered having her window open in her room almost every day, to be able to hear the sounds of life outside. Even though there wasn't much nature by the castle grounds, every time she spotted a moth or firefly made her happy. She remembered feeling the cold air of the night, and the crickets and little peeper frogs during the summer. And the moon, at its highest, just like it was now.
But she couldn't sense any of it. Not the wind or the smells or even hear the sounds properly. She could still hear, obviously, but it wasn’t the same as hearing with a physical body.
She stuck her hand out the open window to try and feel anything, just for the only thing she felt to be the weightless feeling of being detached from reality.
Despite not having any physical tears, she still cried. And not being able to even feel tears just further reminded her of the reason why she was crying in the first place.
Resting her head on the windowsill, Zelda tried to quiet any sounds of her sobbing, but it was difficult when the mere motion of crying was causing her to phase through the walls of the train car ever so slightly. Yet another reminder.
It didn’t take that long for Link to wake up from the sound.
First he mumbled unintelligibly, still in the process of fully waking up. Then he recognized what was going on.
“...Zelda...? Are you okay?”
She didn’t mean to wake him up. He needed to rest after all the adventuring, and she felt bad for doing so.
“Go back to bed.” She managed to say through her tears.
That didn’t stop him, though. Link cared about her, and despite the awkward confrontation Zelda appreciated that.
“No, no, what’s going on?” The engineer asked, sitting on the seat next to her by the window.
He suddenly sounded a bit shocked and embarrassed, and despite not looking at him Zelda could tell what expression he was making.
“Sorry, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to! ...But if there’s anything I can do to make you feel better, I'd be glad to help!”
She turned to face him.
“...Can you listen...?”
Link looked a little surprised at that request, clearly not expecting it. But he nodded.
Zelda sniffed from the crying, as if there was even anything that it would contribute to.
Finally, she sighed.
“I just wish this never happened.”
Zelda felt Link tense a bit beside her, but he eventually settled back down.
“Yeah. I get that.” He said.
“It’s just...” Zelda started, her voice starting to take on that emotional tone again.
“I just wish he never showed up. That grammy didn’t die so early in my life, and that he never swooped in...? And took over. I should have stopped him. I should have known that he had a plan all along. I shouldn’t have just shoved aside his odd behaviors for my whole childhood and actually told someone, a guard, my teacher, anyone! ...It’s all my fault. It’s my fault that I'm stuck like this.”
Without even saying his name, both of them knew who Zelda was talking about.
Link paused, presumably trying to think of an answer.
“Zelda, no... If it’s anyone’s fault, it’s mine. I was the one who brought you there, I was the one who got flung away and couldn't protect you.”
“He would have killed me anyway.” She sighed. “You might have created an opportunity, but he would have gotten to me eventually.”
Link looked down at the ground.
“...I guess so. Just... don’t go blaming yourself for things you can’t control, okay?”
“You’re the one blaming yourself for getting flung away when Bryne has superhuman strength and literally concussed you.” Zelda chuckled. It was a sad chuckle, but she wanted to at least try and make him feel better as he was doing to her.
“Yeah.” Link said. “Yeah.”
“I guess I’m not very good with this stuff, but if there was one thing out of this, if there is any, that you would be upset that it disappeared if that wish came true, what would it be?” He said, and then panicked a bit.
“For like—therapy reasons! Like the knowledge of the outside world you have now, or being aware that the chancellor was a piece of shit, or—”
“I would be upset that I wouldn’t have met you.” Zelda cut him off, still staring out the window.
“Bh—Wh—” Link started sputtering, and when Zelda turned around she found that his face was completely red.
She laughed. “I suppose that makes two of us?”
“I, uh, ... yeah.”
The two of them sat there in silence for a second.
“Well, I think I can actually get to sleep now.” Zelda said. “Uh, thank you. For listening.”
“You’re welcome.”
Link stood there for a few more seconds before very awkwardly realizing that was his cue to do the same, so he wandered to the seat behind her, and layed down.
“See you in the morning.” Zelda said, hanging over the back of her seat to face him before laying down in her seat as well.
“Yup.”
Zelda could have sworn she heard Links panicked muttering, which was quite amusing. She had to admit, though, she was tired. Maybe not in the way you feel physically, but tired in her head.
But this time, she was content enough to push the blame away from herself for now.
