Introducing Yourself to Aphrodite
Don’t be afraid! Aphrodite is often described as intimidating and frightening by many, but in reality she is pretty much open to anyone willing to offer her their love. If that’s the true intent of your heart, you won’t easily offend her!
I think it’s important to do your own research on Aphrodite if you are interested in starting a relationship with her.
When you are interested in someone (like when you have a crush!), you want to know everything about them, right? You probably spend hours looking at their social media profiles, posts, pictures! You want to know what they enjoy and what they don’t.
In a similar way, I really advise you to ~stalk~ Aphrodite a lil bit. What’s her personality, likes and dislikes, her favorite color, animal, flower? What kind of gift would she appreciate? Is there anything she would consider inappropriate?
Show Aphrodite that you are curious about her as the divine being she is, not only curious about her powers and what she has to offer you.
Get her to know about you!
Now it’s time to properly introduce yourself.
I strongly suggest you to be more formal towards Aphrodite in the beginning of your relationship. Even if you are sure you two will later become best friends and partners in crime, approach her with respect and politeness!
Meditate for a bit and tune in with Aphrodite’s energy. Think about all the things you have been learning about her on these past few days. Visualize an aura of love surrounding you and embrace it. When you feel ready…
Aphrodite has many gracious titles. Choose the one you like the most and call her by it! My personal favorite is Ourania, which means heavenly, divine. So for example, I would start by saying:
“Ourania, goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation. My name is _______ and I truly wish to speak with you.”.
It could be anything you feel like she would enjoy! Here are some simple gift ideas:
♡ An apple or a pomegranate;
♡ A red rose or a lettuce leaf;
♡ A cockle shell or other cute item you have found at the beach;
♡ A candle in one of her colors: blue, green, white, pink or red;
♡ A golden object: an earring, a mirror or even a cute lil coin;
♡ A feather of a white dove, goose or swan. Please, make sure no animal has been harmed in the process of collecting the feather!
“Ourania, I brought you this gift and I really hope you like it!”.
When you are sure your gift has been accepted, start talking a bit about yourself. What’s YOUR personality, likes and dislikes, YOUR favorite color, animal, flower? Chat with her for a lil while, like you would to a new friend!
Tell Aphrodite how do you feel about her. Talk of that story you read in which she does this most amazing thing! Tell her how beautiful she was depicted on this certain painting, sculpture or poem. Make her feel appreciated and loved by you!
I think it’s nice for you to finish your first contact with the intent of having a second one. And a third one. And so on! I would tell her:
“Ourania, I value your time so much and I feel like I should go by now. I truly appreciate your attention and I am glad we could talk! I hope we can do this again in the future, as I wish us to be great friends. Thank you!”.
