Brazil tour : the final !

What a crazy weekend that was ! Friday Double A as I played at the new Club A in Sorocaba and then had to rush to Club A in Sao Paulo. Both clubgigs were great, seeing so many fans. The sun was already up when we arrived at the hotel for a well deserved nap. Chillin on Saturday afternoon while watching football before preparing a very long night ! Saturdaynight we left for 1200 Festival in Itu, more than a hour drive to arrive in the middle of nowhere...except for thousands of ravers ! After the set unfortunately no time to socialize as we had to leave to Sao Paulo airport. A very early morning flight brought us to the beautiful city called Rio De Janeiro. Another hour drive and we arrived at Kaballah festival, a great festival on a beautiful location. Great to bump into Felguk and Anthony Rother... The sun was already burning when I had to start my set at 9am so obviously it was very hot with the mask on ! Amazing moments were following until it was time for the next DJ. Although we didn't sleep for almost 24 hours, the atmosphere was that great we decided to stay and enjoy this festival a bit more. By noon we headed towards Rio and after a quick shower we were too excited to check out the city rather than go to bed. After spending a great afternoon with food,sun and especially drinks my lights went out when the lights were turned on....... Thanks to 4mzk Agency, Caramba's Indaial, Danghai Curitiba, Club A Sorocaba, Club A Sao Paulo, 1200 Festival Itu and Kaballah Rio for a great time ! Brazil, i'll be back !!!!

Brazil Tour Part 2

Last few days : Mori Sushi, Disco Siete, Paris 6, Tim Maia, Jardins, 4MZK Agency, Edison Machado, Facebook, Vasco Corinthians, Veridiana, Nike, … Next few days : Club A, Gol, Kaballah, Bayern Chelsea, Botafogo, Niteroi, 1200 Festival, Jack Daniels, Ipanema, Lufthansa, Twitter, … Expecting not much sleep this weekend as I will perform in 2 clubs and at 2 festivals. Tonight double A with Club A Sorocoba and Club A Sao Paulo. If we can believe the social media, it looks like both clubs will be packed ! Hot ‘n sweaty all night long !

Coming home

Back in  Sao Paulo ! The first weekend of the tour was crazy, so were the people ! Now time to chill, shop, watch football, sleep, eat and drink for the next few days in Sao Paulo. Probably hanging out in Jardins with cool shops and nice restaurants, visiting downtown hunting for rare Bossa Nova records, checking out Brazil football as the Brasileiro 2012 starts next weekend, …

Danghai was hot!

Second gig for this tour was in Danghai club in Curitiba, a lovely city! Unfortunately, due to travelling all day, I arrived in the evening so no time for the city centre… I’ve had so much fun last time that I’ve decided to return with a 3h set. Pretty sweaty night ! :-) The crowd was amazing (again!) and after taking pictures with the fans it was time for little nap before heading to Sao Paulo in the early afternoon. If you ever visit Curitiba, go to club Danghai and make sure to grab a burger at Madero Burger & Grill. Pictures of a night to remember here! Muito obrigado Danghai!

Today was all about travelling. Two flights and long drives to make it to Curitiba. Tonight I’m playing at Danghai club. I played here on my last tour and had an amazing time so I’m happy to be back! Hope you are all ready!

Did I mention I love Brazil?

Glad to be back! Left in Brussels, changeover in Munich before arriving in Sao Paulo. A smooth 12 hour Lufthansa flight, rather listening to Ahmad Jamal's Blue moon and Sly And Robbie's Blackwood Dub then watching some blockbuster movies, brought me to my second home country : Brasil !

While waiting for the internal flight to Navegantes, my agent Emiliano joined me and tourmanager Martin for breakfast. A couple of hours later including flight and drive we arrived in Indaial. To fill the stomage we had a classic meatlunch, churrascaria (probably not the last one !).

Batteries are fully charged now and I'm ready for my first gig of this tour, at Caramaba's Hyperclub. Heard a lot of good things about this club and I'm excited to see some of my fans back!
