Date someone who sleeps on your chest and leaves a little puddle of drool. Don’t date someone who makes you leave oceans of tears.

And it’s this: your eyes dropping to my lips then searching my face, and you must find what you’re looking for because then it’s this: your hand brushing mine, thumb against thumb, until I interlace our fingers and you step closer. And then it’s this: your face inches from mine, your free hand brushing back a piece of hair, feeling you breathe my name. It’s nodding and watching you close the distance. It’s your lips warm against my mouth and your hand in my hair and my hand on your waist keeping you close. It’s this: you don’t pull away for a long time.
