hi i saw the piece you did in ms paint and i wanted to ask how you colored the line art without gaps? any advice is appreciated

ok so i have a sketch done with the pencil tool, then i pick the color im going to fill it with and close the tiny gaps until it only fills where i want to then i just manually comor any like white spots that apear and then i paint over that base color with the marker thing (its kinda transparent so its good for mixing colors sort of) and i just draw the lines again on top of that if i paint over them too much

around like 2015 i used to be one of those deviantart base makers (literally just drawn over anime screenshots with some liberties) and my bases were p popular for a while. anyway theres One Thing i did that makes me instantly recognise when someone used my bases and its that theyre always slightly fucked. like i was a bitter kid and fsr i always got jealous when ppl used bases to make pretty and well drawn ocs so i always made sure to add subtle changes (higher/lower eyes/nose/mouth or longer/shorter limbs or basically anything slightly dodgy looking) that made the drawings look off but not enough that ud notice it while drawing...... it doesnt sound like much but considering my deviantart was rly big for a while and that those small details just ruined the whole drawing i thought i was worse than the joker in 2015 for doing this
