Beyond his art, Neal Adams is rightfully remembered as an eternal champion of creators’ rights and for the part he & his work played in the Comics Code revision of ‘71 but his contribution to John Stewart’s creation is – I think –  a rather underrated aspect of his career, especially as it’s such a great reminder of the kind of person he was. every so often it hits me that tim drake is actually, canonically, within the pages of a officially published dc comics, as of right now, bisexual. and i just can’t believe i got to be around for this

Of course you all KNOW Bart has swiped the lollipops right out of Bruce's utility belt while he is on patrol without him noticing on multiple occasions.

Bruce doesn't mention it to anyone but it unnerves him tremendously that every night he notices multiple lollipops missing.

He only finds out the solution to this mystery when Bart criticizes him openly one night for having only grape flavored lollipops in his belt.

For weeks Bruce thought he was losing his mind when after patrol he noticed that his candy pouch was short at least one lollipop a night.

Bruce would absolutely remember giving a lollipop to someone distressed, and all of his kids know better than to raid his patrol stash to satisfy a frivolous sweet tooth. Although Damian might on occasion test his pick-pocketing skills just to keep them sharp.

However even if Damian was swiping candy Bruce was certain his son would not keep the act quiet for long, and the vanishing confections had been going on for weeks!

Eventually Bruce just started tearing through the Batmobile trying to see if (maybe) they were falling out of his pouch, but even removing the seats proved that his sweets were firmly contained.

Right when Bruce was about to resort to putting one of his kids on "candy watch" to try to solve the mystery was when Bart finally cornered him in the night about only containing grape flavored suckers.

Bruce was equal parts irritated and amused but he'd never admit either and instead just opted to grunt an "Impulse, these are not for you."

It takes Bart everything in his willpower to not quip back a "Well yeah they're grape flavored, they're not for anyone."
