Gym owners don't actually look at the website, they just look at the product on the website so they can call their rep and order it. They don't care that the site has three different navigation menus or mixed designs, they just need a room planner
Client to me when I told them that we really should fix how broken the site currently is
Episode 5 of The Full Stack is live! We chat about the profiler in Chrome Canary, JRebel, and REST services.
Episode 3 has been cut and dried and is ready for your digital consumption. It will be hitting iTunes in the next few hours, so if you've subscribed expect a new episode shortly!
Yes, you can do this manually, but when convienence presents itself you take the opportunity.
The developer podcast that I have been working on just went live with the first episode!
The Full Stack covers web development from front-to-back, give it a listen.
Always code as if the guy ending up maintaining your code was a violent psychopath who knows where you live.

Some excellent things to keep in mind while building your mobile eCommerce site.
Android tutorial about implementing tab layout using fragments and viewpager with swiping gesture. This article also gives you basic knowledge about using fragments and viewpager in your projects.
The description above says it all, a good tutorial for Android
This is it, the guide. Written in a very quick "here is X, this is what it does" style, you can get up to speed and start winning with AngularJS :)
Quick in-browser prototype shortcut
In your console (firebug, developer tools, etc) type the following:
document.body.contentEditable = true;
This will allow you to add and remove text on the page. This is great for testing word flow, styles, etc. If you want to disable the edit, change the value to false and viola! prank... I mean prototype successful!
A recent Forbes report places the increasing trend towards flat design firmly at the door of peopleâs growing familiarity with digital interfaces. In years gone by (1995-2003), the author says, designers were designing for only a âcertain class of professional workersâ who were familiar with desktop software and this meant designing with clickability in mind. An absolutely awesome primer on getting started and using Flat Design.
This article wants to teach Web developers with little 3-D and WebGL experience to create incredibly sophisticated 3-D scenes using Three.js and common JavaScript practices.
You know you want to play with WebGL, and now you totally have a crutch for it (not in a bad way, think of it like how jQuery is for vanilla JS). Get on in and start creating mind-blowing sites/games/the-like.
In this article, we will share our responsive image technique, the âpadding-bottomâ technique, which we researched and implemented on the mobile version of the Swedish news website Aftonbladet.
Need to deal with responsive images? Of course you do! This is a good read of various techniques used to build Aftonbladet.
A light open source alternative blogging platform with a focus on publishing. Now on Kickstarter.
Wordpress is a fantastic CMS, and yeah, I'll probably stick with it... and Anchor. But here is a great looking alternative (mobile view of the site needs help, but really not a bad effort).
Unless you backed them on kickstarter, right now you can just sign up to know when the software goes fully live. But this really does look like a great project.
