Nah I don’t think you can if you think pointing out that what IDF is doing has gone from defending itself to a clear genocide is anti-Semitic. Hard to see how the genocide of Palestinians isn’t similar to the Holocaust when you have an Israeli minister happily voicing her enjoyment of thousands of people dying and you have people defending IDF killing an ambulance who was trying to save a trapped child.

Enough is enough. Anti-Semitism is real and has increased since October 7th, and it is sad that there’s people blaming all Jewish for the actions of IDF, Bibi, and justifying the torture and deaths of Israeli hostages. But trying to say it’s anti-Semitic to point out that there’s been a massive amount of innocent women, men, and children dead in Gaza and that Palestinians people are being cornered into death mazes is now anti-Semitic? So you can see that what happened on October 7th to Israeli civilians was bad but no one can do the same for Palestine’s people? Really?

It isn’t soldiers against soldier when you have more and more examples of children being orphaned because their parents were murdered trying to escape Gaza. It isn’t soldiers against soldier when you have already wounded children at hospitals being murdered by IDF soldiers in disguise.

Holocaust is an appropriate word for what is happening. Some of the homes and areas for Palestinians that I’ve seen looked not so different from the ghettos in WW2.

Anyways, I guarantee despite me pointing out that both the actions against Israeli and Palestine’s citizens are wrong and that innocent Jewish citizens shouldn’t be blamed for the actions of Bibi you’ll just call me an anti-Semitic who hates the Jewish because in 2024 we have somehow reached a point where justifying a blatant ethnic cleansing is okay as long under the right circumstances and perpetuators.

After finally finding a funeral home that would his body, and paying for the cremation out of her own savings, Ruth buried his ashes on her family’s large plot.

After this first encounter, Ruth cared for other patients. She would take them to appointments, obtain medications, apply for assistance, and even kept supplies of AIDS medications on hand, as some pharmacies would not carry them.

Ruth’s work soon became well known in the city and she received financial assistance from gay bars, “They would twirl up a drag show on Saturday night and here’d come the money. That’s how we’d buy medicine, that’s how we’d pay rent. If it hadn’t been for the drag queens, I don’t know what we would have done”, Ruth said.

Over the next 30 years, Ruth cared for over 1,000 people and buried more than 40 on her family’s plot most of whom were gay men whose families would not claim their ashes.
