A smile curved across Eadwig’s face as he listened to; for all she had grown up, she still sounded exactly like the little girl he remembered. He wondered how long it would take her to notices the differences in him - for he knew, even if she didn’t yet, that he wasn’t the same. “Better for seeing you. Come inside,” he said, gesturing at the door. “We can talk in there.”
