This is cream cheese icing erasure and I will not stand for it!  Buttercream is clearly a fine choice, but when all options are considered, cream cheese icing is undoubtedly superior in all ways.

In regards to Jeremy/ Clint, he knows the Clint he's playing isn't reeeaaally Clint Barton, and it was more subtle at first but hes now more openly saying how he's annoyed with how they wrote Clint. He loves Clint, he did his research and loves the character, but he is trapped by mostly the choices Whedon made. It shows in the stuff that was improved, like the whole "no one would know" but from AoU. Or the little moments he sneaks in, like sticking his tongue out at Thor. He tries for the birb.

Yeah, he probably tries. I’m honestly not disparaging Clint, really, Renner just reads as Generic White Dude to me.  For a long time, I couldn’t distinguish between him and Tom Hardy.  To be fair, I haven’t seen him in much of anything except Marvel.  He’s probably a very good actor in the right situation.  It’s unfair of me to really judge him based on what little I’ve seen of him. His other movies tend to not be my thing.

I know you’ve probably already considered watching it but The Bourne Legacy REALLY showed Renner’s acting chops to me, way more so than the MCU.  I won’t spoile it for you if you haven’t seen it yet, but there is some INCREDIBLE subtle acting in it that you don’t even realize is happening until something major is revealed about his character and then it hits you like a hammer.  Honestly I think he’s seriously under-rated as an actor and that movie is mainly why.

okay i’ve just had such a perfect idea for the layout of a wedding ceremony that i drew a diagram and will now describe it

so a traditional set up for a ceremony would look like this, with the audience lined up in front of the couple, and divided in the middle to make a path for the bride to come down and be given away by her father to the groom

instead, i propose (ohhh puns) a set up more like this:

where the audience is on either side (which halves the distance that the farthest person is from the action) and at the same time you can have each half of the couple come down aisles on opposite sides and both be given away by their parents to each other (which takes away all the gross sexist and hetero-normative crap)

just… isn’t that way better???

OMG this is... this is BRILLIANT actually... Even skipping over the sexist implications and all of that, this is more symbolic of how a relationship is formed. No one is just standing still waiting for their spouse to come along and meet them, we’re all moving forward in our lives and WE COME AND MEET EACH OTHER!  There you are, literally surrounded by friends and family who are physically closer to you than they would have been traditionally, walking to meet the person you love in the middle (Hell yeah compromise!) and then you leave the circle together, a team, ready for the next part of the journey.  How epic is that?

ok, i’m built like a noble ox. like i am 6′1 and i am sturdy lady. like thighs for days. if you try to move me. you will be moved. body images aside (lol, i am self conscious about my size, yeah it’s life) 

so like, i am very used to girls standing next to me in public places. i end up acquiring a pack of ladies. just because women are like, that lady is a lady men stay away from. i am jerk kryptonite (usually, i get my fair share of creeps, such is life) but most men have self preservation that this 6′1 ox will break them. and i will

so usually i am in my own phone and look up to another lady standing next to me. and i will immediately look up and make eye contact and nod. like, you know, that nod. i see you and you can talk if there is something wrong. i end up on a reg basis being a defacto bodyguard to these young ladies and small women while waiting for buses and in the metro. 

i am a large oak tree. i protect the other birds. 

ladies, we all got roles. find tree in the wild. we’re always happy to provide shelter from the creeps.

As a tiny (5′4″, barely 97lbs) woman, I have to say Thank You for this.  I’m not one who has ever really been intimidated by other people, even men, which is probably a failure on the part of my survival instincts, but I know a lot of smaller ladies who would find this a huge relief. OP is right, we’ve all got roles.  I like to think that mine is complimenting the HELL out of every woman that catches my notice for one reason or another.  It makes my freaking WEEK when another woman says something nice to me out of the blue, especially if she’s complimenting me on something that she’s got down PAT.  WoC says something nice about my curls?  God DAMN I’m thrilled.  Lady with a hella cute outfit on compliments my shoes? LOVING IT.  Super fun conversationalist tells me I’m one of the most interesting people she’s ever talked to? OMG BEST DAY EVER. So Amazonian Trees out there?  You’re beautiful, and powerful, and amazing, and we’re grateful as hell for you.  You keep intimidating the piss out of creeps and assholes, your size is your glory and you ROCK it.
