Ello ello!

It's been a while since I last posted for Anomalies vs Variants! I drew some art recently of some of my sillies and figured I'd post them here!

Slasher and Hoodie are playing an equivalent of uno (with hand made cards) and then Doc is having tea with @pasteldoodles 's Teagan variant named Blue!

Also I'm pretty sure I forgot to draw the dandy pins (except Blue's) , but uh, let's just imagine that they're there 😅

(also I did change how hoodie's antennas look. I really like how they look now :3)

Sparker is a flower shop owner in Shirelock! Despite the location he's pretty content with what he has. He also has a pet magma turtle named Maggie :3

He tries to keep his job and his villainous tendencies separate. For various reasons.

His shop is pretty welcoming! There's areas to sit at inside it if you need to relax for a bit , he tends to give free tea out if you visit and need to sit for a while. (No fighting inside his flower shop, he WILL kick you out if you cause a ruckus.)

Jokes aside, It's hard to say overall, but this is pretty close to the usual! It can get pretty hectic (especially with what she decides to use her free time on while trying to maintain her career). She is extremely inexperienced as a vigilante and figuring that out by herself along with her deadlines is a challenge.

If you are on a Windows 11 computer, pause everything you are doing for one minute and:

Open computer settings

Click on Accessibility on the left-hand menu

Scroll down the Accessibility menu and click on the Keyboard Option

Under the "related settings" tab, click "Typing" which should have a description of "spellcheck, autocorrect, text suggestions."

Turn off the AI "correct misspelled words"

and most importantly: turn off Typing Insights.

I mean, yeah, it says that..... for *now.*

It also only specifies that Microsoft themselves don't collect it, and they wouldn't have made this something that I was automatically, secretly opted in for without my knowledge if they didn't have something to be gained by me not knowing it exists!

I only found this because a cat walked on the keyboard and turned on Filter Keys and while trying to figure out why my keyboard was just making chirping noises instead of typing, I happened to click on "typing insights" by accident.

Generative AI, and especially AI that is used to "personalize" and track your activity across the web and on your computer are never going to be in your best interest, it is always going to serve these companies in whatever way will line their pockets the most, and all it takes is updating their terms of service once, and then all of that data they promised they weren't collecting suddenly all belongs to them.

This time I have another character I'm bringing into MOTM, Spyro the dragon! He's based around several iterations of the games and stuff, and I am gonna be mix and matching things from them for him!

At the moment I have a couple of doodles for him , and a comic! (Sorta. It's three panels long and has lyrics of a song as it's dialogue lol, but it's lore related in a sense cuz of Cynder.)

I also have this draft design I have of him from when I was first designing him! May make it an alt outfit later lol

This Spyro does stand bipedal, but does also stand quadrupedal as well! He switches between them pretty easily, although he mainly stands bipedal in crowded cities and places designed mainly for bipedal toons. (Or stands on two legs instead of four in cities)

He also keeps his wings folded in those instances as well!

He's my silly lil guy and I adore him very much 💜

LIFE UPDATE!

This last year has been a deeply interesting but extremely taxing on me and my family, you'd likely remember that issue with my father from the LAST new years. Things have been in legal contention for this entire year, including lawyers fees, and all manner of stress. We've all been working, trying to keep up, and prepare for any angle. but it was all practically ambiguous what would happen. THAT SAID. GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS Good news first, We've finally reached a settlement with my father. Bad news, it's not a great settlement, but will allow us to actually recover at the end of all of this. This has been genuinely so draining that each of us has taken this financial hit. despite working constantly. (Heck I even Monetized my hobbies to try and help with this all.) That said we're finally getting to the point where we're barely scrapping by. We've still got lawyers fees to pay before this is all settled. It's gotten to the point my mother has made a gofundme for this, IF you can spare even a dollar, any assistance is deeply appreciated. You can find my other's post, and the general story of what the hell happened here. My mother and my sister took on the brunt of the work, and I'm currently looking for basically a third job to try and help pay off all of these damned fees.
