I just realised you haven't updated in a year! I hope you do become active once more - I am always in need of more trans fic rec!!!

I don’t think we will be active in the foreseeable future. When this blog started there was not a lot of trans fics in fandom. The purpose of this blog was to collect what little there was and share it. But since then there has been a lot more, which makes this blog kind of superfluous really.

Imagine Frederick Chilton as an extremely cautious stealth trans man. He's constantly trying to make sure that he never shows weakness and has his persona in check so that if anyone finds out, they can't claim he 'gave himself away' or 'looked trans'. He buys a big house, sleek car, masculine things, all to feel more in control of how he appears to other people.

Holy crap, that is a really awesome headcanon for Frederick. It would add a whole new layer to his character and why he is always peacocking. Plus, that line where Alana says “You were never comfortable in your own skin, Frederick. You’d never be comfortable in Hannibal’s,” would have additional meaning.

Trans Lifeline is a non-profit dedicated to the well being of transgender people. We run a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of our community might have.
