I think Siffrin's wish to stay with his friends forever should still be active actually. The wish hasn't been completed!
And I don't mean that they should still be in a timeloop, or that their whole life should loop as soon as one of them dies because dying makes them unable to stay together.
I mean they're all immortal now. Siffrin gets to be with his family forever, without any of them having to worry about dying and leaving each other behind. They aren't looping, none of them notice for awhile, since they can still get injured and sick, but.
Bonnie hasn't grown, it's been a few years and they still look the same as they always have. Their sister looks fairly similar as well, but she's an adult. Bonnie is a growing kid though, they should be noticeably different, like other kids their age. They aren't, they're a teenager but they don't look it.
Odile still has her own pains, but doesnt get new ones. Her body doesn't get worse as time passes, as bodies tend to do at her supposed age. She will never be any older than she currently is, every issue her body had staying with her but not gaining more.
Isabeau Changed to be a few inches taller, and then it was like it never happened barely an hour later. He cant change himself anymore, even when he wants to. He will always be exactly as he is.
Mirabelle is... inevitable. She has become what crabs are. She is freaking out!
Siffrin feels terribly guilty about it, but isn't as bothered about it as their family is. Time still moves, things around them continue to be different, days arent stagnant and the same all the time, the same conversations and sights. They aren't aware of the entirety of what it entails yet.
None of them know they are immortal, even when they realize that their bodies arent changing and Bonnie isnt aging. They have no idea what's going on, until one of them gets hurt doing something dangerous and aren't dead. It's an injury that should have killed them, and yet.
Mirabelle is who figures out they're immortal, its just like one of her books!
They are together forever now, and dying will not be able to take them. Nothing will take them away from each other now.
