TOA Mermay Au 2025, my Seafolk, loveable giant Leviathan Aaarrrgghh!!!

Ok, so if wasn’t obvious, Aaarrrgghh is inspired by a Archelon, a giant sea turtle. Originally I had him as a type of blue whale, but I did some further exploration and this just fit too well.

Parts of his design are also taken from other reptiles, such as a snapping turtle for his spikes and horns.

Also disclaimer, Aaarrrgghh is actually bigger than his troll self in this Au, due to deep sea gigantism. But due to time and magic his flippers are powerful enough to support himself on land just like Blinky’s.

I missed drawing creechur nari, so here she is by a creek! I also gave Skrael and bellroc more animalistic traits to match Nari's jackalope features in this piece, so I referenced a barn owl and a monitor lizard when drawing them :>

Flying Ship Design Path

Right lets get another of these moved over from twitter really really belatedly. Did actually leave this in drafts as got body slammed by exhaustion last week so uh thanks for leaving the text to do now past me. Coulda at least done the tags.

It's been said the initial idea for the flying ship was to be made of books. Unsurprisingly given the complexity of the idea, no matter how cool, is a bit of a budget killer. There's no known images of it though this Treasure Planet pose Douxie by Alfonso Blaas is probably the nearest we have.

This said we're rather lucky in that we can see another of the designs, one which is very Merlin-esque by Isaac Orloff. Understandable why it didn't go ahead but /look how snazzy this thing is! Fanart and fanfic writers please let it live on.

There is two variations of this artwork so confusingly the text is from the original tweet whereas the artwork is from his website which includes the blatant Merlin arm.

There was an untextured model in one of Ivan Gozali storyboard sequences though sadly this was lost with the unexpected site jiggle. It appears again in one of Felix Yang's nyoom sequences though this is hand drawn so figured would save that for the mass screenshotting that still needs doing.

Before Janus order: (right picture)

She is at first timid and quiet, but once she gets even a little intrigued/curious on something/somebody, she suddenly gets all talkative and starts asking lots of questions. ( She loves learning new things and just knowledge in general. )

The more somebody gets close to her, she does tone down a bit. She's very caring and loving to her closest friends/family keeping them safe at all times.

She works for the Janus order, causing her to go insane...

She doesn't talk that much anymore, if anything, she'll just stare at you with mad eyes.

Probably would spread a disease on ye oc or something...

Oh and she's quite close to angor rot 😌
