     “Last I checked your husband didn’t call for me, Lady Maret, did you need something?” The mogul it seemed was at this point cleaning glasses and preparing for his evening rush. Well, that’s what he told people anyway but the truth was much bigger given he had something to take care of. A big score one can say. Thieves everywhere were gathering to prepare for it and he needed to ready his network for what would be one of the grandest heists. “Or were you here to get a quick drink?”

     She was always difficult to deal with, then again he didn’t expect her to show up so soon at this point. “Er... not yet, we’ve been discussing it, I half thought maybe a winter wedding.” Best to not stay like this for long unless he felt like dealing with a certain painters own antics plus mouth. What surprised him however was the sight of gifts, was she out shopping for those before coming by he wondered. “Lady Adesso, at least be careful leaving those unintended for obvious reasons.” Who knows what his siblings would do.

Baudouin Lussier - Amadou’s right hand man and best friend, graduated with high honors as a knight who despises corruption and is the more out going of him and Alexandra. He can be found working with Lady Maret in Manya’s case at any time he is not at Lord Maret’s side. A man who is also quite caring for his fiancée who has a strong sense of justice even on top of not being afraid to dirty his hands.

Tarso Adesso - Painter and new noble, has a foul mouth at times but is a strong and caring man. Often known for his sunny personality and silly antics to raise morale as needed, he loves his wife Elena dearly. He is a refined man by personality as well though his cursing tends to come out when he dislikes someone in a more respectful way outside of if he makes a mistake in his art.

Flora Reder - Amadou’s nanny and caretaker until his siblings removed her from the estate. Although her location is unknown, she was known for being tough and hard to crack. She often times treated Amadou like he was her oldest son as well as had introduced them before in her son Franz’s case.

Franz Reder - A mystery man, on the surface he is your average merchant plus tavern owner who is sitting on an empire of sorts due to his silver tongue and business sense. Beneath it? Franz is the unseen owner of the thieves guild and a head of a information network that has people all over the world. When not working he is a rather detached man unless around his mother who is he caring for at this time, he is the sole person to know where she is. Thousands of people know of him as an unknown figure in the underworld but not a single soul knows his name or face.

Ladislas Maret - The oldest son and former heir, he has a chip on his shoulder and a detestable personality. Any woman he intended to marry has broken off their engagement because of his tyrannical demeanor, it’s unknown if he even would be able to. Antagonistic and insufferable toward his younger brother, forceful and flirting toward his brother’s wife in an attempt to force her to choose him over Amadou. He is a greedy and ambitious man.

     Burnt finger tips and he almost seemed as if he were too warm to the average person. Not many could withstand it. He knew vulnerability was impossible between the two yet the small effort was appreciated. This man always had hid these things, tried to anyway, the scorched areas of his little ‘spar’ with his brothers hired help to attempt to weaken him wasn’t anything less than him pushed to the brink. It was aggravating. Suffocating him at this point they continued their game. “You see, my bloodline carries within it magic...” Might as well start there right?

I’ll do it but... never mind, I’ll just hope whatever I think will happen does not.” How could he tell her that it wasn’t just potential but a gift that had not resurfaced until his birth? Wretched fire magic that would strip flesh and bone clean with how far he repressed those negative feelings out of a desire to not be labelled further a demon. “Please also make certain they do not get rid of Bau considering he’s the sole familiar face at this point.” Especially since he was helping hide this from her.

     “...” Right, she didn’t know the truth of his words yet which is why he took care to hide his hands. Though gloved this time, it would be obvious if the fabric started to ‘melt’ away with smoke filling the air in front of her that he was not as normal as he came off as. “It’s... complicated. My older brother, Ladislas, the one you commented was the worst rat is the cause of this from what Bau told me. He’s attempting something to force a rise from me or force isolation.” Both of which was already causing him to feel sick to his stomach at the thought. Again with this and already he was tired of it. “He said if I were to take back ownership that I must accept his ‘duel’.”
