guys i need your help

someone i love very much has a doctors appointment tomorrow and i want to send them some serious good luck before the appointment. they are going to have a lump checked out to see if it cancerous and i need to do something for them. anyone have any incantations for good health/good luck/a combo of the two they like?

Little Things For Witches Who Keep Quiet About Their Craft

-Stir clockwise (no one would notice that) -Drink herbal teas (it’s totally normal) -Clean with special solutions (scented cleaner wouldn’t make anyone suspicious) -Draw sigils that disappear quickly (out of sight, out if mind) -Keep plants around (plants are nice decoration for houses) -Cook with herbs (nobody would question it, and they’ll love your food) -Wear crystal pendants (if it matches your outfit, it’ll pass as mundane) -Buy magickal yet normal things (wind chimes aren’t weird) -Drink special smoothies in the morning (once it’s a daily routine, people won’t care) -Take walks in nature (it’s normal and calming) -Draw sigils under clothing (no one would know unless they have x-ray vision) -Keep a stash of candles “for emergencies” (better safe than sorry) -Go out with friends once a week (when I say friends, I really mean your coven, and if you aren’t in a coven, pretend you’re with friends and do witchy stuff on your own) -Add a subtle magickal twist to family holidays (specific color themes, taking the opportunity to use all the extra energy floating around, decorate with enchanted objects, etc)

Where to put Sigils: Body Edition

Places you can feel your pulse (it can be used to charge):

Inside of your wrist

Inside of your elbow

Inside of your thigh

The side of your throat

Your temple

Your foot

Over your heart*

Places the sigil is meant to affect:

    e.g. If you have a sigil for better eyesight, put it on or near your eye*

If you’re not open about your practice (and want the sigil remain on your skin):

*Pro-tip, be careful what you use in areas where skin is sensitive. Your best options for these places are things like makeup, which are made to be used on skin.

These are all just some basic ideas and this is definitely not a complete list. The most important part is that you should put your sigils somewhere that is comfortable for you.

So, this is interesting…Doreen Valiente was an awesome pioneer of modern witchcraft, but apparently she was also working on top secret code-breaking anti-nazi stuff in the office with Alan Turing and the first programmable computer. And furthermore, although the specific work she did was top secret, since she was hired for her linguistic ability at a time when most punch-card computer programming was done by women because it was considered a clerical task, I’m strongly considering jumping to some conclusions about that. :)

Hey everyone!

This year’s Supanova is coming up pretty soon, and I am desperate to go. Last year, I was skint broke, and when Comic Con rolled around I was bed-ridden with a mysterious illness that ended with me in surgery. Basically what I’m saying is, all of last year’s con season I wasn’t able to go.

This year, I really want to make it to Supa to meet the cast of Torchwood and actually go to a con with my new friends! So I’m opening commissions to raise enough money to afford a ticket and some tickets to meet my heroes! 

If you’re wondering, I intend on going in cosplay as both the Hitcher and Howard Moon - alongside @wesandersthetic as Vince Noir. I don’t wanna let them down on our Booshy cosplays.

If you can’t commission me, it would be amazing if you could signal boost this!
