theres this one antibiotic ive been on (topically) for over a decade and apparently it’s known for causing hospitalization-level bacterial imbalances…the doctors keep renewing my prescription but i dont get the sense theyre doing it out of more than a sense of continuity…may transition myself to the version that’s retinoid only instead of the combo bc there cannot be a good reason for staying on an antibiotic for ten years erm
