This is a reminder that your parents/guardians are supposed to feed you, give you shelter and clothes. These should not be seen as favors nor should they be pushing these things to be seen as favors they do for you. This is literally the bare minimum of what they signed up for and you deserve so much more than the bare minimum without being made to feel guilty about any of it.

I think the first step towards the life you want is often to just say yes to more things. Accept that coffee invitation from your coworker even if it seems awkward. Sign up for that free class at the library that you're not sure you'll like. Join that club. Book that tour. Say yes to as many things as you can and kill the part of your brain that gut-reacts with a no.
There's plenty of reasons to move your body that have nothing to do with loosing weight. It imporoves anxiety and depression, it's good for your heart, you stay flexible, it's good for your back, it will keep your body pain-free when you're old one day, it's good for circulation, helps with digestion and so on. Don't use it as a punishment.
People don’t talk enough about the guilt that can come from recovery. Or the second guessing, or the invalidation we may feel.
Thoughts can come like, “if I’m feeling okay now, was it really that bad?”
Just because you were able to heal, doesn’t mean your trauma, depression or pain weren’t valid.
You deserve to heal and feel better.
You don't need to be actively trying to heal all the time. And honestly, that sounds like a recipe for burn out.
It's okay to not always be focused on your healing. It's okay to take breaks.
To avoid disappointment, accept people exactly as they are, instead of idealizing about who you wish they would be.
