The fact that we got ‘this is eddie’s house, i’m not a guest’ in an episode titled seize the day, where an attractive gay couple also got together as a side plot SAYS A LOT.

So in their first scene Buck and Eddie were asked if they were single and the two of them look to one another like the implications. (Ryan, Oliver thank you for your acting choices). In the beginning of the episode Hen said “I keep telling you family comes to us in different ways…lean in” In the same episode her and Karan are thinking about adopting like Buck eventually adopting Chris perhaps. Then later in the episode Eddie says “What’s that saying you got the family your born into and the one you choose, well that’s what the 118 is the family we chose” After chim asked if he thinks its weird they spend so much time together outside of work. While saying this he was looking at Buck and Chris sitting together laughing on the couch. In the next scene Buck is saying there was no need for him to bring anything because “Um this is Eddie’s house I’m not really a guest” like what???? This whole ep was about Chim talking about the family he chose the Lims Maddie mentioning her and Bucks neglectful parents and how they choose their own family the 118. Karen and Hen fostering a little girl. This can’t be a coincidence.
