evianna may come a bit strong in terms of discussion but ... it’s because she didn’t really have people to talk to when she was younger bc of also being in and out of the hospital. 

but she is very well aware of social cues and is a well mannered woman. extremely understanding too but she has so much love to give -

warning for body image discussion but not in depth -

when evianna was younger, post car accident, she had to go through a great deal of physical therapy bc while she did survive. she didn’t get out unscathed at all, her entire right side of her body had been damaged to the point where it was a big toss up on whether or not she’d recover or require surgery. in the end, she was a trooper and eventually, evi had gone through physical therapy for a long time - she suffered a lot throughout it all and she continued to suffer with the aftermath of it. should she wear a skirt outside the kids in her hometown would point out her scars and mock her. you’re so freaky looking with those scars! get away, freak! eww, why are you showing your scars? they’re gross! ugly! weirdo! 

their words hurt her more than she’d ever let on. there were afternoons where she ran home crying to her father, he’d never silence her cries. he let her cry and comforted her more than anything, but it was important that he taught her to love rather than hate, disliking what they said and how they treated her was one thing, but he taught her to love herself above all things life threw her way. it was hard for evianna to make friends, she was alone and only ever had phoebus, her ampharos, and zeus, her manectric to be her best friends. they were all she needed.

but as she got older, evianna learned to love herself despite the really bad scars, she’s mindful of them, but never did she cover her body up again. when she modeled for things like bathing suits, lingerie, etc. she always stated that she did not want her body edited, she wants her scars out for all to see. she loves her body and the world can suck it up, if she can show someone that it’s okay to love your body no matter the scars, stretch marks, blemishes, burns, anything. she will show that with pride and wholesome love. she loves her body and she will never let a single person tell her otherwise again.

❛  hmhmhm ... ~  ❜  she’s off in her own world as she hums, moving her index fingers in a way that made it seem like she was following along to whatever beats she was listening to through her headset. though, of course, she didn’t expect a voice repeating, hey! excuse me, ma’am! that wasn’t ... a part of the song. so with confusion, she’s looking around  &  turns at the sight of someone waving to her  &  rushing over. were they trying to get her attention this whole time?  ❛  yes ...?  ❜

she answers gently as her hands are pulling down her headset. you dropped this! dropped ... what ... ? it’s obvious that she has no idea what it was until she actually focused on it. oh, it was ... !  ❛  my charm! oh, sweet arceus ... i nearly walked off and abandoned it ... !  ❜  a cute little ampharos charm was lying in the other’s hand, it was ... a bit silly to admit that she had purchased her own merch but she couldn’t simply ignore the efforts others put into this so it was her way of saying thanks! acceptable right? it was a cute little ampharos charm with a little chime dangling at the bottom, the shape of said chime was her gym’s badge ... it was important to her. it reminded her of home  &  it was probably obvious how fondly evianna was looking at it when she claimed it. the soft smile on glossed lips said it all.

To Piers, newcomers were always obvious, especially in Spikemuth. Most people found the dark streets intimidating, and if it weren’t for the fact he had been born and raised there, he probably would feel the same way. He had noticed the woman standing around awkwardly, so he decided to approach.

Once she began to explain, it did add up. Although he was no longer the Gym Leader officially, he was still part of the League. Marnie was young, and would need help in her new position. Having an elite four seemed like a good idea after recent events, although he had been slightly sceptical hearing that some of the members would come from different regions.

“Right… One’uv the elite four they were plannin’ on settin’ up, yeah?” the musician replied. “If ya lookin’ f’Spikemuth’s Gym Leader, she’s a lil busy right now. I’m her brother, Piers. Ex-Gym Leader.”

piers ... piers .... piers. definitely not a name she would’ve expected to hear from him but a name she finds rather suiting of him now that she acquires a better look at him. he looks ... tired though, is he alright? evianna doesn’t feel like it’s her place to suddenly question him or his state of being, but it does remain to be something that lurks in the back of her mind. but to find out that her co worker, or at least one of her co workers was a young lass, how thrilling it was to see such youthful people take up such strong roles! the world needed more of that, for sure!

a warm, honeyed smile graces her face  &  she nods to the other,  ❛  piers ... i like that name. it’s simple ... to the point.  ❜  she pauses; however, from her lingering thoughts. that’s right, she needed to continue the topic at hand.  ❛  as i said before, i’m evianna, e - evianna denholm. i was placed as the fourth member of the elite four and i look forward to working with you and your sister, piers!  ❜

her nerves are calming a bit now that she got her proper introduction out. it can easily be seen when her wound shoulders ease themselves lower  &  lower.  ❛  i’d love to see what spikemuth is all about. if i’m going to be living in galar from here on out, i think it’s a mere form of respect to learn about everything i can, yeah?  ❜

mentioned this to jolt earlier today and it hasnt left my mind since but ... evianna’s phone background is a picture of her mother and her before her mother passed away. you might be thinking, why doesn’t she just take the picture itself with her instead of just taking a picture of said pic? well, it’s a picture of her and her mother during a festival and it was one of their happiest moments and it was the last one they took together. she leaves it with her father back home in the eira region.

she also says good morning to her mother first thing when she wakes up to start her day.

❛  o  - oh! uhmm ...  ❜  she had been making her rounds to introduce herself to her fellow league members, since coming to galar she was ... well, it was safe to say that she was definitely an odd girl in a crowd of thousands. some people have burned holes into the back of her head with their stares  &  has slipped up on numerous occasions as she’s made her way around. opting to simply walk  &  take in the sights this region had to offer, it was ... her new home, was it not? thus, evianna made the effort to familiarize herself with her new home. one of these stops meant visiting spikemuth.

she didn’t really think she’d be so caught out ... quickly too, for that matter - the man before her had such a striking appearance, black and white hair longer than her own  &  such pretty green eyes! if it wasn’t rude to stare, she’d take a moment longer to get a real good glimpse at them!  ❛  i’m evianna ... i’m the new addition to the league as of yesterday  &  i wanted to introduce myself to my colleagues!  ❜  the way she speaks, though, sounds like she was put under a microscope  -  evianna, calm your nerves!  ❛  &  ....   &  i came to speak with the gym leader of spikemuth  &  its affiliates!  ❜  good going, now you just sound unbearably clueless in terms of presentation. as if to prove her point, phoebus, her ampharos merely stands at her side but looks at her with a rather unamused glance.
