Dear Crush Diary,

This meme was actually meant for him😂. He came back to our little hometown for two weeks and asked me out for movies, drinks or food😅. Since I’m in a situationship, I turned him down with a bunch of excuses.

Had I gone out with him in those nights, i think things would be a little bit more complicated by now. Or not! 😁 But it was very tempting.

I shared the meme thinking about him and funny enough, he actually responded to it 😂 it was a fun talk while it lasted.

Year 2020, a quarter of my life

Has granted me the best and the worst views in life. I'm not sure how things will turn out to be, but I wanna share this with you. Here on tumblr.

People come and go in life as your friend, lover, or enemy.

Some will cherish you

Some will use you

And some will pretend to be there for you. For their own benefit.

But when it comes to your own sanity, as to finding your own peace, those type of people will never understand.

They will get upset. They may blame you, and may talk horribly about you.

And that's fine.

The peace you're always looking for, may not be in the right spot. So wrong that it churns your stomach up and down and around.

Never fret my friend.

I know you are tired.

Sometimes you cant hold it anymore.

But

The peace within you often speaks to you.

Women are more prone to developing rogue proteins in the brain that trigger Alzheimer's disease, according to new research.

Women developed more tau pathology than men with similar amyloid burden, an analysis of cross-sectional data found.

Across two cohorts of older cognitively normal adults, women with higher amyloid burden showed higher entorhinal cortical tau compared with men with higher amyloid burden, reported Reisa Sperling, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston, and colleagues, in JAMA Neurology.

Questions:  Do sex differences exist in regional tauopathy, as measured with positron emission tomography, and is this largely driven by higher global amyloid burden?

Findings:  In this study of 2 cross-sectional cohorts of 296 clinically normal adults, women with higher amyloid burden showed greater entorhinal cortical tau signal compared with men with higher amyloid burden. Sex differences did not exist in amyloid load or apolipoprotein E ε4 frequency.

Conclusions and Relevance:  Early tau deposition was elevated in women compared with men in individuals on the Alzheimer disease trajectory. These findings lend support to a growing body of literature that highlights a biological underpinning for sex differences in Alzheimer disease risk.

New Job, New Learning Site.

I’m very much excited on the new job I have. I’m learning so much and it even motivates me to learn more. I love it. My bosses and the patients I work with are amazing. It’s a fast paced environment, but I am thankful I was able to adjust right away.

What motivates me the most is my boss/mentor. She’s teaching me so many things about the office work and handling in a fast pace environment. She made it comfortable around me that on my first day of work, I wasn’t too stressed out. The doctor I work with is also amazing with with his patients, and teaches me on the things I’m not aware of. My great respects to both of them.

Everyday at work is a new learning experience. I learn new cases, new patients, and even medications. In order for me to keep up with the new things out there, I go over the books I have and make a little notes and research. I want to be prepared as soon as I enter the workplace and continue learning more.

I’m going over few things here: EHR works, front office things, and Endocrine System. 

In MA School, it felt like my instructor focused so much on the skills needed to be done in a clinic/office setting and forgot the importance of Anatomy and Physiology. The book we use offers great information on the Human Anatomy and Physiology and the diagnoses and tests available per chapter/system. It’s something I want to prepare on in the office, and Endocrine system is one of my weak topics out there. I guess you can say it’s a great start. ;D

Hello! 👋🏼 

I’ve been quiet for a while, for many reasons. Hehe

Life got to serious at some point, where I should focus on it more that spending more time on social media. It was very time consuming but I worked on it.

Second, I got a job. ☺️ It’s the happiest moment of my life (so far). My boss automatically put me in a training and showed me how things are done in the workplace. I’m learning a lot from her so far, and i’ve been studying as well. 😁 

The year 2018 has been really great so far. I’ve accomplished about 2–3 things in my Goal list, so I am very happy about the progress. I’m just grateful, and I thought I could share it to you.
